Any chance we could get a new "Legacy-mark" for the pre-Heavensward Event? =D

I think it's neat SE gave rewards for people who payed for a game that wasn't a game. Most of them had high hopes of course.

Many people already knew 1.0 had no chance. Even for a beta it would be horrible. Luckily for SE, many uniformed people stuck with the game and even payed a sub. I think it's more than deserved for those who did. If it were up to me, I would have given them even more.

I don't think there should be a "generation two" reward. You already get vet rewards in return for you support. Maybe a little more interesting rewards. Other than that it's just fine.

I'm fine without the tattoo tbh. I have it on my 1.0 character, but as I started a new character, I'm not really missing out on it. I'd rather get something from the "Battle of Ishgard" that's commemorative. Maybe a "Torn Ishgardian Battle Standard" or something else from the battle. Then again, the event may be it's own reward.

I'm jealous of the Legacy tattoo, it's so cool looking. It should remain only for 1.0 legacy players but I would appreciate S-E adding different tattoo options for the rest of us!

Just give us some tatoo options that aren't attatched to body armors. I -hate- the way those armors look but -love- that tatoos.

It might be hard to implement a world changing event like the fall of the meteor but I agree with OP and I'll remain honest too... I'm jealous of Legacy players and I too wish I could get something important and relevant to the lore and the world as a reward for giving A Realm Reborn its chance to grow.

I was highly interested in FF14 even if its 1.0 version was a mess but the race options did not interest me at the time. I would have joined though if the male miqo'tes were in game but it wasn't the case. So it makes me a bit sad to see people rewarded for their support with not only unique items that are no longer available in-game but legacy items aswell while we get meh rewards that are not really special since certain people with time cards can get them months in advance, leaving us to wait to feel somewhat special.

In addition, what people don't really get is that the items we get from the veteran system are not important lore-wise and do not bind us to the world like the legacy mark does. It's just fluff with no substance. When I see a legacy mark, I don't see a supporter of FF14 1.0, I see a character deeply involved in the story while I feel like a filler character. Everyone in the Realm Reborn are the faceless and less important support characters of an anime's second season while the legacy players are the true heroes of the story, survivors of the first season. It doesn't affect me greatly to be honest but it does makes me sigh thinking I'll never be as ''special'' as the true Warriors of Light of version 1.0.

There are some armor pieces that actually show it off. And a lot of people who have it specifically choose glamours that show it off. There are a LOT of female outfits that show it off.
On my main, i wear the hempen camise glamoured over my chest piece on my BLM and SMN outfit that would totally show it off...

Don't worry, you guys will all still be super cool Legacy players with exclusive tattoos when everyone else gets something to acknowledge how long they've been around, too.

I personally wish the legacy mark applied to characters made on your account, rather than JUST imported characters. I have a legacy mark on two characters but neither is my main since I didn't really want to play on a JP data center at launch.
But that's just me.

It's not just you. I had no idea about the marks, and just made a new character on a different server when I started back up again. So, even though I've been playing since the beginning, I missed out on having a cool tattoo.
