At first when we did not know what race they were adding I thought it was going to be Viera and I was slightly upset that it wasn't. I think the race poll they did showed a high % preferred Viera also...so I really hope they maybe add it in the future.

Viera was NEVER an option. It was asking players what type of new race they wanted and the option Mammalian Demi-Beastmen used Viera as an example NOT an option.

I rather like the plant person concept as it would actually work with an androgynous male/female dryad combo. (aka not a lot of difference between sexes, both being slender and small shouldered builds)

However, adding new races is not that easy And takes a lot of lore to work out. New racial clans with new body types and features would be cool as it would allow the option of having more effeminate males or even bulkier more sinister males or similar variations for females.

Lalafel is probably the hardest to make a new type for unless it's a more dwarfish type that's more broad of shoulder with a stockier build.

I however have always wanted moogles to be playable, but I know that won't happen.

If I had to pick a new race I'd want something . . . fae like, I suppose? Lithe and graceful, not too tall, and with the potential for a more androgynous feel and a hint of wildness. Something like GW2 Sylvari, but more faerie and less fern.

To be honest, though, I'd rather they just add more customization options to existing races. I am super excited for the Au Ra, but I've grown quite fond of my Miqo'te so it is already going to be really hard to decide whether to switch races or not. This game is not alt friendly. :/

You do not need to bold and capitalize your response to me as if I cannot read lol. I know it was not a specific option but the buzz around the forums at the time was a lot of people liked the idea of Viera as a new race especially since the poll used Viera as an example. The thread wasn't even made about that, just what new races people want.

Gnolls would be an interesting choice for sure. It would add some diversity to the races since they are not really human-like.

I'd love a winged race, preferably feathered I love my lala but a winged race (feathers/fairy wings) would really make me consider a permanent change.

I don't want more races, personally.

I just want more options with the current races. Different physiques, hair options, faces and age options would be greatly appreciated since I love miqo'te but the current options are waaaay too limited.
