Cloud and Lightning are not actually IN this game though. Lightning just had a cameo appearance and the costumes are just cosplay fan service. Being able to make yourself look like the actual main story NPCs in FFXIV though would be a little odd. This is why all the Scions have unique outfits that can't be replicated by players; it's a deliberate design choice to keep the main characters of the story unique.

the fun thing is were not saying to give us the ul'dahn royal robes (well i aint at least) but her hairstyle, its pigtails THAT LOOK LIKE HAIR
normal lalafells is hey would you like Sticks or bulbs, or do you want straight ironed hair that dosnt seem o have any fluff to it what so ever.

Nanamo's hairstyle is pigtails that actually look like it is messy yet cleaned up, it is free flowing and thats what i want,

to be frank i am sick of all the straight forward 'clean' haircuts and would like more messier hairstyles, nanamo's is just one of them

it dosnt even have to be Identicle to nanamo, but instead something akin to it, something messy with pigtails,
i don't want the same, i only want something simmilar to her hairstyle

even if there were thousands of her running around the NPC would stand out due to her personality her look and the way she acts

edit: correct me if i am wrong by the by, don't Roe women have Myurwib's (or however it's spelt) hair, and don't most midlander females have Kann-ee's hair style?

Nanamo freaked me out when she was introduced because she is a fancier version of me... it is possible to get close to her look, though!

As much as I would love to see that hairstyle added, I don't think they will let us use it since it's the Sultana we are talking about, us peasants can't have the same hairstyle as her... that would be outrageous. :P

The devs want that some NPC stay unique so it's unlikely.

This always bothers me. NPC's should be unique for their personality and role in the story, not what they wear.

When people say, "We can't look like X NPC because then they won't be unique!!" It's like saying people can't try to dress or do their hair like their favorite celebrity. Doing so in no way makes that celebrity less special. In fact it's often something companies try to exploit by offering free clothing and accessories to big celebrities so that others will buy them. So let us dress like our favorite NPC! You know the Ul'dahin merchants want a slice of that pie!

It is extremely easy to make a character look just like Yshtola and Yda. Perhaps even Thancred.

Hildebrand is so easy to mimic it's not even funny.

Having -any- of the NPCs hairstyles and outfits would be awesome. I've been hoping to get Alphinaud's hairstyle every since I saw him in the very first cut scene on my very first day. Having a male version of Minfilia's costume would be a dream come true aswell! xD
