I don't understand what TC is complaining about. There are tons of ways to earn lights. It's not Square Enix's fault you choose to do the same thing over and over. You're complaining for the developer to implement a feature...already implemented??

I mean they doubled lights. They made an hourly bonus system. They made mahatmas easy to obtain and build up.

What more do you want?!

You can ofc do dungeons and raids, but amount you get from those duties are way out of balance... Why not just make dungeons and raids give the same amount of light per minute as the primal fights?

It wouldn't make it faster by any means, it would just make it less monotonous...

That being said, the OP have done way too many relics to complain about this... and Zeta light farm is a joke. You can do it in 1-2 days easily. Nexus light farm is more annoying, but it's really not that bad anymore.

Me and my static in non-raid or non-full days joined a lot of random EX Primals. We granted some unbeliavable 1 time kill to much ppl on Garuda/Titan/Ifrit and other Extreme Primals.

^this. However, no matter how S-E tries to "balance" Light progression, there will always be one singular route that is considered "most efficient" and as such will be spammed. Just like how back when Animus books were first released, everyone was "SPAM TWO BOSS MYTHFLOX HM FOR BOOKS", now it's smash Garuda into kibbles and bits over and over again.

No matter what, the efficiency scale will always be:

Least Efficient, Least Repetitive |------------------------------------------------------| Most Efficient, Most Repetitive

The only thing S-E can truly do is attempt to make the gap between the two points smaller.

This is by far and i mean BY FAR the easiest of the entire Relic questline.
2 ST runs + a few fates= full light for 1 mahatma, it is so easy
Also you can do Expert Roulette, Alex maps, etc.
Also figure why not do Primals? Chance of card dropping is also there plus you may get a weapon that you may either trade in for seals or desynth along with light
Always mainly do the instances that have forceful light and you will have your Zeta in no time

You can't complain to the developer about that. That doesn't make sense. You're complaining about the method YOU'RE using to complete the task. The method you're using is optimal in the very essence of mass production, fast but repetitive.

If you're bored, then do the other things which give light! You have the oppritunity!

I'm not quite sure what you are asking for, you said in your first post don't comment on raids, well that's the only other way to get a high end weapon. So its either the high end raid route, or the time sink but easy (skillwise) route which is the relic.

I'm also tired of seeing Ruda, but the point you seem to be missing is you don't HAVE to spam primals for this, you can do any dungeons you want and get the light, it's just not as fast.

SE could make it so WoD gives more light, and people would spam that and then complain about it, or make Tam Tara normal the go to dungeon, point is no matter what SE do with the relic, as a community we will find the fastest way and spam it till we cry.

I have my Zeta and I am currently working on my ninja nexus, but I'm doing it at the same time as my zodiac dungeons. It's slow, but I'm not about to pull my hair out from primal spam.

Ok person A is trolling. Thanks guys. Forget I ever said anything. Jamein, to anwers your question "This isnt a COIL or RAID topic because having raiders join in this topic would derail it in to a "Relic vs Coil weapon." This isnt about that.

This is: exmaple "I have 1 hour to play everyday how do I earn the MOST lights in that TIME = I Fight Primals which pay the best light. I'd like: I have 1 hour to play everyday how day I earn the Most light = I can do gold Saucer + crafting + fates in high level areas + Maxxed out Beast Tribe quest = the same amount fighting primals for 1 hour gives out.
