I played alpha, beta, open beta and CE release, and still enjoy this game. There is so many things to do, and so much potential for the future. Those with closed/narrow minds have less to do.

So many things to do? Really? Like what? Grind boring and repetitive Leves for hours on end? No thanks.

The side-quests and dungeons are pretty nice, but there's far too few of them in the game right now, certainly not enough to make the ridiculous (not to mention wrong) claim that FFXIV has a wealth of content, because it doesn't.

Maybe in a year or so after several much needed content patches, you will be able to say FFXIV has a lot to do, but right now there isn't much to do at all.

Also like to mention the PC version is a port of the PS3, and goes with it's limitations, not the PC's.

Actually no, Kailea_Nagisa is right. The PS3 version is the port this time, not the PC version. FFXIV is the opposite of FFXI in this respect.
