The game as a whole needs to do away with the whole delay/lag BS that's baked into everything, I think. I'm pretty sure it's not possible, though, so woopie.

But seriously, anyone who's ever tried PVP as a melee class probably knows the pain. You're on a target, you hit an ability, it starts the animation. The target moves before the animation completes. Your ability fails. Ridiculous.

You hit an ability, want to hit something that's off the GCD. But too bad, you can't, there's a delay due to the abilities each having to play out their flashy spell effect. Most frustrating with Ninjutsu.

I mean, I realize these are different things. But I feel they're similar issues. If "instant" abilities were legitimately instant, you wouldn't have the aforementioned issue in PVP, for example.
