One of the things I like about this game is that there is little unnecessarily skimpy clothing and where it does exist it is generally equal opportunity, looking as skimpy on the male as it does on the female characters (except the random ab window on the Dragoon armor lolwut).

So since we now have the playboy bunny outfit for the girls, I too would love to see an equivalent Chippendale set for the guys. It's literally the same thing - shirt cuffs, bow tie and all.

Also should be males in skimpy clothes at the casino. I mean...come on SE. It's 2015 we don't need to continue to propagate the male gamer stereotype do we?

One of the nice things about Final Fantasy XIV is that it is a game. Unlike real life you can pick whatever gender and race of character you choose.

Therefore its perfectly fine to have outfits limited by race, gender, class, job, etc. You are free to pick any other race, gender, class, job of your choosing to get the benefits you want.

    I'm not understanding the problem.

The only issue I see is that there are fewer exclusive outfits for male characters.

Men already have a progressively wide variety of options for (un)dressing like hoes; it's more that females not only get to share several "male" glamours but have more exclusives on top of that.

I have the spriggan hat, the explore calot, onion helms, mog head... I use different hats to go with different classes/outfits. I don't think bunny ears on a man is that ridiculous.

I used to play a female character for glamour reasons until I was asked to change to a male for my ig wife.

I feel like men get screwed on glamour items sometimes and the gear doesn't always look as good on males as it does females... the demon healing gear looks like I'm either a cross dresser or am going for some kind of pimp look.

    I somewhat agree.

However I've always been extremely upset that Crafting and Gathering classes have extremely limited tools and outfits compared to War and Magic jobs. One of the things that drew me to FFXIV 1.0 was that crafting and gathering (DoL/H) were distinct classes. I thought that would mean the same amount of attention paid to them in terms of equipment quests and content. Sadly, that is a big opportunity missed by SE.

But still they do it better than any other MMO (IMO) so I can't complain too much XD Anyway that's why this type of gripe drives me a little crazy >.> Forget the bunny ears, think of us poor crafters and gatherers!!!

Shouldnt that apply to what you can wear, rather then your choice of avatar..?

The bow tie is a great idea for a more traditionally masculine, yet risqué look.

On a side note, that boy on the left obviously used the whole bottle of tanner on his body and had none left for his face lol.

Pft, unless the female clothes are made specifically for the female model and would take a lot of adjusting/changes to make it wearable by the male model... Make all female clothes wearable by males or... YOU SEXIST MOFOS! IF A MALE WANTS TO WEAR "FEMALE" CLOTHES, THE MALE SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO SO!
