With 9 fields, there cannot be a draw. But when you read the rules carefully, you will notice: the not played last card counts too![]()

Psst. If you talk to that guy, he gives you the option to examine him more closely. You actually need this for any reasonable chance at success; all the other Adventurers look almost exactly like him except for minor differences, save the 'correct' one.
Like we're talking children's activity book "find the differences between the two pictures"-tier BS.
video games are bad
I have had countless draws....announced as such and more then I can say...ex-aequo is a draw really. At one point I even had a draw with me having 6 on the floor.

That must be a bug, or you didn't notice the last card played did turn some cards?
I seen whole field turn around from my color to my enemies color, because of plus with comboon the last card played, and I thought I would win >.<
i totally didn't pay attention to the plus rule when playing my last card, if I placed it different I would have won...
yeah casinos do thatAnd ya complained about me referencing WoW.....
My experience:
Addiction, depression, lust, and I've lost all contact of the outside world in, and outside this game. As soon as the airstrip headed towards the Golden Saucer my friends warned me of it's dark temptation... For a place so small and simple I found myself trapped, trapped in an addiction for Black Cat, Blood Sword, Gambler gear, and the amount of beautiful female Elzens...
I soon learned I stopped playing A realm reborn, and began a path of my own destruction.

I absolutely loved every minute of my time in GS. Finally got the hang of TT, and was able to snag the Bahamut card on my 3rd win from the King. I loved the atmosphere and the amount of people that were there last night! Going to try my hand at chocobo racing tonight and maybe try a GATE. As Yutsimaki said, this place is full of dark temptations....and I'm loving every bit of it. I think the trick to this is going to be remembering to do content other than hanging out at the GS and playing TT.

I'm not a fan other than the chocobo racing. Even that gets kinda w.e if you spam it. DAT mgp grind doh.
You don't win if you have more cards on the field. You win if you have more cards in total, including the one in hand. So if you have 5 cards on the field and they have 4, but they also have one IN HAND, it's a tie. From what I noticed from playing TT for a while is that theres some occasions where the npcs don't have to follow the rules >_> It doesn't happen often, but happens often enough to not be a coincidence.
Also, anyone else annoyed how the rules say "you win if you have more cards on the field" yet theres times when you have 4-5 or more on the field and get a draw? Sounds more like the npc is a sore loser and won't admit they lost lol

Eh... I really don't know. It's getting to be like PvP for me: been there, tried it, done a bit - not really gonna go back, probably.
I can see it being fun for people who have their everything maxed out and all geared up, I can see them getting bored with not having anything to do. It would be fun while queueing for duty, especially with nigh everything having an AWT of "more than 30m" lately - the lack of a forfeit/resign option in both race and TT though kinda defeats that purpose (an incredibly shortsightedness that's probably gonna get fixed sooner or later though). The GATEs, why, the place is so crowded pretty much all day that I can barely even spot the NPC I need to click on, nevermind being able to actually click on them - and even then, what's up with having it purely random based (hello Typhon)? Thought we have the cactpots for that. Triple Triad, well, yes, I was happy about those... but the incredibly low drop rate of cards, together with the fact that NPCs are pretty much exempt from the rules we have to play by (look at those decks), well that's just BS. And as for chocobo racing, I already said in another thread, is just way too weird for me with its control issues (and then what others are reporting with the chest drops and such, at least "interesting"). Add to all that the mostly ridiculous prices for most everything in there (some even beyond ridiculous, I'm looking at you, Fenrir mount); and on a sidenote, also the fact that guys are shafted when it comes to outfits - as well as certain jobs are when it comes to weapons (~the lack thereof)........
I'm at the point of "ain't nobody got time for that". I'm a simple commoner, I know, but I'm probably not alone - I can't play 24/7, and in the time I do have to play, I have better things to do. The fun factor is there, or at the very least, the possibility, indeed. However, where I am now personally, and as it is right now... More a turn-off than a new source of excitement.
