I speak no lies, always the truth, because the truth hurts, oh sure maybe not like jumping on a bike with the seat missing, but it hurts. We don't live in a Fantasy world...err....ummm, nevermind.
Anyone ever stop to think for a minute. Hey wait we only play the games we didn't develop these characters. Or that since it is a Fantasy game ie not reflective of real life. Maybe my fantasy is to be a red and purple haired female kitty wielding a flaming sword and spiked shield tromping around face bashing creatures and leading a party to greatness that makes me fell warm and fuzzy inside. Isn't that all that really matters?

Because sex appeal. Make roegadyns and elzen with more sex appeal than miquotes and i guarantee you there would be more of said races.
There's plenty of room to improve Elzen.
Roe's are essentionally tailless galkas, they were downgraded from XI if you ask me!
I tend to switch between Miqo'te and FemRoe occasionally. One is cute and the other is gorgeous!
My Roe~♡
For those that think Roegadyn are ugly, you should browse through the 'Show your Roe!!' thread, you'll be surprise what you might find. I found my love and appreciation for them there.![]()

I've rolled Fem Roe twice. I think they can look pretty good but I just can't deal with the hulking bodies in the end. Their proportions and posture are just too masculine for my tastes. Fem Highlanders got it just about right, but their emotes are so over the top. I'm hoping the new race gets it all right because I'm sick of buying fantasias...lol
elzen looks to lanky and roe just looks fugly lmao.. i chose kitty kat man cause its super cute :P
Plenty of room for improvement? I don't think so, the only thing I would change would be to make them not quite so tall. Other than that they are absolutely fine. I have Hyur midlander and Miqo'te characters and though I like them too, I prefer Elezen by a wide margin.
So many people not playing miqo'te. What gives?
Need more cutie miqo'te males, and less weird Roegadyn women with their chiseled dog-faces. *hides*
Honest to god, I was absolutely THRILLED that Roegadyn woman are built like they are. Having a character that large and thick but still be as feminine as you want? FUCKING FINALLY. Roegadyn woman made me want to play the game.
BUT after rolling with one in Beta, I found that despite loving their size and shape, they have rather stiff emotes, something that the males deal with, too. While I'm happy to see one, and my character has rolled in and out of being one via Fantasia, it never really clicked. Highlander girls look super tough and cool, but have super bouncy emotes. Elezan ladies are a little stiff, too, and the 9 heads tall style proportions throw me off at times, despite them have otherwise gorgeous emotes and faces.
I have played as a Miqo'te as well... and I honestly don't fully understand the extreme popularity of them other than being cat people. Like, I don't like cats, but I had played every other race and.... yeah, my girl was gorgeous, but so was every other Miqo'te. I didn't feel special in that avatar, no matter the effort I put into her appearance, I was still running into others with similar ideas. And that's something you don't run into with pretty much all of the other races. Yes, lalafell are insanely popular as well, but you won't meet another Snicker Doodles like me!
I am with the crowd excited for Au Ra for the opportunity to play another race with in-human features. Maybe it'll stick.
And Roeg ladies are still gorgeous.
