Please make the in-game Au Ra (Males) more muscular, reflective of the Artwork

He still looks quite frail to me. I feel like his chest and ribcage should be a little more broad. His arms definitely look more imposing when wearing armor, though, so that's great, plus I'm thrilled to see you can alter the color of the scales/bones (was afraid that would be locked, based on Tribe). He just needs a touch more mass, to make him feel truly different from the existing races.

To me, they just still don't look noticeably different from Elezen or Hyur. If I wanted to play a slender-looking character, I already have three Races (arguably four, if you count Highlanders), but for something more muscular, the only option present is the *EXTREMELY* large Roegadyn. I feel like there's a happy-medium in there, somewhere.

The Au Ra may technically me new, but as cool at that Dark Knight armor may look, they don't look any more muscular than the other three human-looking races, and that makes me sad.

I want to know where this is coming from. Is it just a popular speculation based on the fact that Au Ra are humanoid but scaly, or has SE actually come out and released any kind of lore on it? It just seems... unlikely.

In all honesty, *THIS* is the type of character -- or at least body-type -- I would love to see in FFXIV, be it the Au Ra or something totally different:

Maybe a *bit* less bulk, just to be a little more lean to fit roles like Dragoon and Monk, but while Roegadyn are certainly *large*, they don't seem athletic or intimidating; just "big". Like I said, the Au Ra's artwork looks like the kind of character capable of standing toe-to-toe with a character like those in these last two images, whereas the in-game model we were shown seems "weak" in comparison.

I know people argue that "But a muscular character wouldn't 'fit' the world of FFXIV", but to me, that's the entire reason you add a new race at all; to give people something different. And if people prefer the slender races, like we already have? Then play the slender races we already have. Leave new races for people who want something *different*.

Seriously hoping the NA Devs/Translation team can pass this feedback along, anyways. They don't need to be *MASSIVE* or anything, but definitely more muscular proportions than shown at the Tokyo Fanfest, I think. More rounded, muscular shoulders, a thicker neck, and wider rib-cage, I think would make those guys look truly badass.

Just posting my support for this. I agree, the Au Ra males need to be bulkier than they are. They look way too much like tall Hyur/Elezen.

Also I want to support OP, I could care less how the male ones look like, but I can agree that they need to look different from the other races somehow.
So bulkier men and pretty women yes please!

They have a muscular build though, to be sure. They appear kind of like if you merged an Elezen with a Roe. They aren't fully bulky, but they definitely are not slender.

They're still pretty slender. Not *as* slender as Elezen, but still not what I would consider noticeably muscular. The arms are fine, but the shoulders and chest need a bit more muscle. I agree, they should maintain a more "athletic" appearance than, say, Roegadyn, but I honestly don't foresee them looking any more or less muscular than Miqo'te or Hyur; just taller.

Like I said, I'm knocking the quality, but it just doesn't seem "new".
