Should Cleric Stance be disabled during Dungeons and Raids?

The title says it all do you guys think that Cleric Stance should be disabled during dungeons and raids similar to frontlines.

Recently it has become almost mandatory for healers to DPS, and while it certainly does have it niches it shouldn't be a requirement nor feasible in raids and dungeons unless the healer was made with damage dealing healing capabilities (Ex. Discipline Priest Wow / Dancer FFXI)

I do agree on the fact that Healers wasn't made for DPS but that shouldn't disregard the fact that they can deal damage and at a ok rate too with Cleric stance and it might just be that small DPS, that could save your team. So I say no. Since people benefit from it more.

You mean the raids which cant deal with a dps check, if the healer isnt dpsing, say no..

True, but if we didn't have cleric stance it wouldn't be as expected of us to DPS because our performance wouldn't be as good. The reason I made this thread is because there are many instances where healers have a lot on there plate with the healing and it feels unfair to have to do the job of the other jobs. Why should healers dps if the dps don't heal, nor tank and the same applies to tanks they don't heal they just dps because its required to do their job.

God no. Just no. Why limit good healers from doing this when they can do it just fine? If they can do it and keep everyone alive then they should do it. Any DPS is useful DPS especially if you win. Removing options isn't a good thing. This isn't a race for mediocrity where everyone has to be forced into a little no dps healer bubble. Let people play the way they want.

And do you have any idea how boring it is in some dungeons and trials? There are whole phases where the damage is output by the boss is so low that you'd literally be standing there doing nothing if you don't help DPS. That's wasted time and extremely boring. Don't try forcing people to play this way.

No, If I couldn't use cleric stance in dungeons I wouldn't be able to finish one without falling asleep.

DPSing as a healer is not a "requirement" for anything.

Healers who DPS fall into two categories:
1) They're really just SMNs or BLMs in disguise, and never really wanted to heal in the first place.
2) They're real healers who want to make the best of the time they have, and sneak in a few spells so runs are faster and/or dps checks are met.

Would you believe me if I said Holy is a good healing spell? I personally think it is.

So...no. Cleric Stance should not be disabled. I reckon a large number of healers will stop playing their respective healing class if that happens.
