Can we please for the love of God get higher level materia

I'm assuming it's going to happen in the expansion probably level 5 and 6 materia but I don't want to wait that long I need higher level materia now!

We can craft level 110 equips but our materia is still level 70. Like really??? All of us players want higher level materia now by patch 2.5 2

That would be nice, especially since with the current materia you can't hit all of the Artisan Apron's stat caps.

As nice as this idea is, it is barely affordable now for people to stat their relic with IV. Unless it eases up on the ability to obtain the current highest level of materia, then introducing new materia won't affect the current market. It'll just be a lot of stuff only rich people can afford.

they can figure out a way to obtain level 4s more easily suggestion gear we get from dungeons allow us to convert it like level 60 and 70 stuff. but seriously we need level 5 materia now square soft. woops square enix

Its unfortunate that the whole materia system is actually useless except for very niche situations.
It could offer a very fun way to customize your character.

Put Sockets on dungeon/raid gear.
Put more sockets on crafted gear so it has benefits.
Make it useful in pvp modes people actually play.
Make it so IVs aren't so ridic overpriced (thanks relic)

My main issue with the current Tier IV materia is that on the i110 accessories, you need to use 3 slots if you want to cap another main stat on there. I'd gladly have paid a lot extra for a Tier V materia that could cap that same stat in two slots.

No please no. The materias out now are barely even afordable other than for the people bored enough to run around spamming holy all day.
