Given the story of why the grand companies are out there fighting over those ruins, I'd say it actually makes the most sense for the ADS mount to be an achievement tied to frontlines. Honestly, if I saw the mount tied to any of the other content now, it would feel really out of place.

Because the PVPers are actually fighting over ruins to excavate and research. Maybe we found a deactivated ADS and reactivated it.

Actually that's a very interesting point Miles, since Frontline already got an exclusive mount, adding a second seems kind of unfair for other categories.

I didn't said there was no possible justification linked, just found it very odd to see a most iconic enemy from coil dispatched as a PVP, Frontline reward only...

You know, Frontline is kind of new when it come to contents (2.3), Coil was there before ^^ and since 2.0.

But again, even being polite and educated isn't enough when talking with PVPer on a forum sadly, it's something you learn over years from many mmos.

Done turns 1-11, thank you very much. But, coil starts to focus more on the past and Bahamut rather than hanging on to allagan tech

How is ADS more iconic than the last 2 bosses of final coil? How could it possibly be the most iconic? It gets marginalized after the first coil into a common enemy.

That's probably why, sadly it won't push me to do PVP there is a reason why I did choose ffxiv and not one from the many Korean mmos with PVP at every corner.

I don't know really, Allagan ruins being part of Frontline doesn't explain why a most iconic monster as ADS isn't coming from its main content, as always raiders are left behind when it come to achievements anyway even The Hunt got more titles and ton of points than the Raid category.
