I was disappointed in the conclusion too. Cheesy in the worst way possible, and it felt sorta rushed. After how amazing WoD itself was, it was kind of a let down that the story didn't end on a similar note.

I noticed it was part of an odd trend, as they're doing away with characters they introduced mid-story. Doga and Unei going bye-bye was a given (I would have been surprised if they had stuck around), but G'raha and the character from the main storyline? You're supposed to expand the cast as the story progresses, not keep it the same size from one major arc to another...
* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
* Design ideas:
Red Mage - COMPLETE (https://tinyurl.com/y6tsbnjh), Chemist - Second Pass (https://tinyurl.com/ssuog88), Thief - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/vdjpkoa), Rune Fencer - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/y3fomdp2)
