The OP knows but he'll leave it as is and tell you that in all caps and !'sWhat was said in the thread title and in the OP and what was actually said in the interview are completely different. In the interview, they said nothing about restricting you from leveling all crafting classes, they said they were considering allowing you "master" one craft, the details we know nothing about.
The results of this "poll" mean nothing, and should be taken with a grain of salt, as do most player created forum "polls".
PS: The link in the OP doesn't even link directly to the interview and what was said.
hahahah yup your speculation is better then mine lmao
Grow up kid you are guessing.
Fact: FF11 used a level cap on all crafts to limit crafting
Fact: every other game in the world you can only level one craft to max
Opinion everything you wrote.

MASTER one craft means you are limtied in all others.
My post still stands
Do not like it make your own
I have no idea what the difference between a mastered class and a non-mastered class is, so....
....no opinion.
Also, the tags for this thread. Looooooooooool.
EDIT: For all we know, "Mastering" a craft could be new recipes, a level cap, or increased chance to HQ an item. We don't know anything, so a poll is pointless. Might as well make a poll asking how we feel about the year 2015.
Peach Parfait/Khulan Angura on Gilgamesh
If you haven't noticed, this game is unlike most other games. This game has the highest MP costs on cures than any other game. This game determines classes by weapons. This game lets you be every class on 1 character (Only 2 other games come to mind with this). Since crafters are still "classes," they can and most likely still will be able to be leveled to max level. Thinking logically can go a long way. Also, don't try to insult me, fool. You went off on a rampage over speculation of something that the devs THINK they MIGHT want to do with something that SOUNDED LIKE a restriction but with no real EVIDENCE as to what this restriction is nor if there will even be one.
Healer strike is ridiculously foolish and accomplishes nothing
"Mastering" a particular crafting class could mean anything, it could mean that you have a 5% increased chance at HQ or something else entirely miniscule. To panic like you are without even knowing the details is like me saying "Oh noes as Keeper as the moon I have 3 less STR than Seeker of the sun! That's totally limiting me, SE should abolish EVERY RACIAL STAT DIFFERENCE NO MATTER HOW SMALL Q_Q!!!"
And why would I make my own thread? If I were to make my own thread on this topic, I would wait until all of the details were given instead of taking things out of context and twisting them around so that all of the other people on the forums that read anything a player says and believes it to be true without any factual foundation like you did.
Cue OP troll reply.
Edit for the new posters: The OP already knows everything you're about to tell him. However like any other troll he'll continue to twist your words around and make his faulty point again and again. Read This and keep in mind that a dev did not make this quote.
Decide for yourselves.

Ok for your 1st ideas, I said I couldn't find any not boring way to have them participate in fights. Maybe you find it epic to have a carpenter win a story fight by having them cut a tree to bar the way, I seriously think it's BS and really boring and nothing could make it epic in any way.Easily.
Diferent goals or ways to finish a quest based on your class.
By example, a crafter would have to repair somethin before time runs out, a miner would have to make a hole as a trap so the enemy forces fall in, a wood cuter would have to cut a tree to obstruct the enemy from advancing.
Even could add all that + DOW/DOM into the same battle and make it a party quest/mission.Were the mission fails if everyone does not complete his objectives.
" requires DOW-DOM-DOH-DOL " to complete.
As for them grouping with DoW/DoM and having them do specific things to win the fight is way too specific. That would make them too valuable since to win a specific fight you would absolutely need X and X DoH or DoL class with your group. Also people who only have a DoH or DoL class chose that because they probably didn't like fighting, else they would level up a fighting class. Their hot and cold mini-game is also based on chance and not on skills and opposed to fighting classes so winning a fight will come down to chance.
Doh/DoL in fights is just not welcomed. I am all for fights that involves strategy, even gimmicks, but crafters and gatherer should not be included in the design of the fights. If they want to save the world they live in, they can pick up a fighting class and join.
