Should we be limited to only one craft class?

I bet you 20% of the population will have more then 1 job ranked to 50 and even less will have two crafts rank to 50.
you are ONLY right if more then 70& of the people have EVERY class rank to 50.... that will never happen.

It wouldn't be a bad thing.

There are plenty of games that do this. Everyone would cry on the forums, adjust to the new playstyle and keep playing.

Ever wondered that a lot of people currently playing do so because multiple classes on one char since game sucks so much in about almost every other aspect?.

I for once would be definitively gone.if they did that to DoW or DoM.

Yeah, this game would pretty much be dead to me if they do this.. It's bad enough they are tearing character customization out piece by piece. This would be crossing a Huge line IMO.

I think what the original quote implies is that you can level all of your crafts to 50, however you will only be able to Master One.

So a r50 master alchemist (such as myself) could make Batraal Glue but as a plain 'ol r50 goldsmith I wouldn't have access to master goldsmith recipes.

I actually like this idea better than the way it was in ffxi.

So when it comes down to it your poll isn't really relevant until you edit it haha. But w/e it's your poll you can do what you want.

It's not going to matter anyway.

Dude thanks but i understood completely.

you have to understand that once the capp raises i WILL NOT LONGER be able to repair all my gear. that means im rank 70 MRD and i ranked ARM and BSM and GLD to 50 to repair everything now i wasted my time because i can only take one further. do you understand? If i knew i could only rank one class i would not have wasted my time getting those jobs to rank 50 if when the cap is rasied it will be useless.

I also spent 3-4 months on each craft not JUST to repair everything but to make gear for myself. So if i can not make high level gear and sell it or wear it in this case its useless. Its like having a rank 40 DoW in the rank 45 raid (which i can not even enter). whats the point?

And I feel if they do that (which would be fine) they need to also carry that philosophy to all classes.

So a r50 CON could only be a WHM not any other job.
