It looks like everyone is going to get faster and faster. Which means interrupts faster and faster for healers.
There feels like very little incentive to heal or to learn to heal properly.

but the team with the most amount of kills will be the winning team, so by just focusing on kills you will win the match...
and just wait, i can almost promise you that the 5000 kill achievement will have some badass title/mount/minion/glamour item.
cred to whoever made this <3
Gl getting kills as a healer, if ppl see a healer get some kills they\\\\'ll just write them off as either damn tht healer is dangerous or lel that healer is a scrub & can only ks. Gg get good scrub etc.
obviously ppl will start to get the " kill healer first so no one will get healed = more kills to put on ur kill streak " concept. Once this becomes the meta again healers will suffer even more.
Also has se ever thought of this, someone gets raised = weakness. Dps notice that and they camp that person to death and wait for healer to keep raising them till they catch on and stop raising. I\\\\'ve seen/ done this in WD where we would spare the enemy healer and wait for them to raise someone just to kill them off again and again till the healer gives up and afks.
Only way to fix this is if SE implements ASSIST points.
So that when we heal a dps who kills someone we will get a .5 for our bonus streak. So we will be slower at building up the bonus but if you are supporting a powerful dps/ group then you will also be awarded for healing / helping out. That way we don\\\\\\'t have to go crazy on kill stealing and can be rewarded for doing what we do, supporting the team.
But for now SE hasn\\\\\\'t said anything about it in the notes so we will probably have to QQ hard enough till they reconsider the struggles of a healer in pvp.
BLM and summoner suffer from the same problem. Except we don't have regen or eos to keep us alive a few seconds longer

That is true.
But as a difference of note the BLM and summoner actually have a significantly higher chance of killing something and increasing their casting speed. It is part of their design.
While WHM and Scholar are designed to keep every one else alive so they can do the killing. But from what I have seen I do not see a bonus to increase their ability to heal, speed at which they will heal or surviveability.
I am saying this as a fairly new player of PVP. I am only rank 15. But all of that is as a healer. I have not seen it from any other viewpoint.

It is odd that haste only seems to affect recast times for spells only, and not faster cast times, gives a huge bonus to melee and bards, and a small one to casters. That is true.

"It's going to get harder for healers so people won't need to learn to play well"
that's what you just said when you said learning to heal properly.
???
Things getting harder for me just makes me more excited to heal.

OP, you are speculating and then complaining about the speculated situation.
Such bold.
Honestly, its called Slaughter. Heal if you want, or just go as DPS.
Not everything needs to fit into the PVE raid scenario.

That wasn't exactly what I meant.
I more meant it might mean you will see less healers. good quality or not.
And wanting to heal more because it is harder? That doesn't seem to be a typical reaction. LOL
