    lower mp cost and lower amount of hp cured. worked fine that way in ffxi... why do we need super cures? but as it stands now it is hard to solo effectively as a lower class. lots of resting... sigh. well if thats how it is i guess we got to work with it.

    MP cost is perfectly fine. The people complaining about it obviously are not very good at managing their MP. Blame yourself for having troubles, not the system. The THM's and CON's that I've played with have no problems with MP and I've yet to hear any complaints from them.

    Also, I've been leveling solo and have had no issues with my MP.

    But as an archer you need the points to be in accuracy and attack. So mp sits around 350-400.
    You can use food to get an extra 30 hp and second wind to cure 200 every 45 seconds but that won't help when you are attacking stuff.
    Everyone says mages are not complaining it's not about the parties or Mages it's about the people that like to solo.
    Being in a partie makes this game easy no matter what..
    Every MMO is easy in party. The soloing is the hardest. :-)

    Again.. THA and CON have almost unlimited Mp... As any other class you get very very few MP.. So in other words you can't really heal yourself.
    And FF is about Magic healing and attacks... Been that way since 1987.

    I didn't read a single word in this thread beside the OP that being said. After 50+ DH runs MP hasn't ever been a problem so bad that we failed due to no MP. Theres mage rotations, putting weapon away and regening, etc. I think over time with gear+advanced jobs and other advancement and character progression that the MP cost will even itself out and there will be less and less problems. Itemization in the early stages of a game is always scored a lot lower and things stay hard until more and more gear comes out. It should be that. Every piece of gear you get in DH makes the next run that much easier. When everyone's maxed on gear, it's cake. If you just nerf MP cost because it's hard or people haven't learned to manage it correctly so soon after the patch, then it'll become unbalanced. Give it time to be worked on. Remember we used to not be able to regen MP at all.

    Again please lower it. People just go in parties and do it but soloing is now harder. I used to be able to solo Queen Bolete and a couple of other NMs but now I can't please don't bring it back down to the way it was before but bring it down a bit like 3 quarters of what it costs now.

    The MP cost needs to be lowered, but not down to where it originally was. As a long time WHM and SCH from FFXI, I know how to manage MP, and control healing, but if you are soloing, and using Cure as a form of subjob healing, it's ridiculous if you are taking 1/4 of your MP pool for a single cure when it takes 5 minutes to recover your MP after a fight. While Cure here is about as effective as Cure III in FFXI, the HP totals and damage received in this game are also closer to the lv70+ values of FFXI, where people had a dedicated mage in a party to use Cure IV for even higher recovery values, and that person was recovering MP constantly while not actively healing/buffing party members. If the MP cost of cure spells stays at the current levels, then the MP cost of ALL spells needs to be increased accordingly, and then see how players feel about the new costs. 20MP for a nuke that can do 400 dmg, but 75 MP for a heal that recovers only 300? These values are backwards, and are biased towards DD, not survivability of the casual player who doesn't want to spend hours looking for a party to grind SP on.
