And I never once said they should remove their dots or their pet aspect either, despite what the entirely different part might lead you to believe. SCH would at least need new base abilities, whether they're still dots or not, if they were indeed going to abolish classes and did it right instead of copy pasting their base abilities. It's all just speculation anyway since there's no real word on what's going to happen to existing classes and jobs yet.

In a thread titled "ACN removed, SMN remade", what could "entirely different" mean? LOL. Sorry for jumping the gun, but all these threads with people being unhappy with Summoner, and their fixes are just a bit upsetting. There are, I counted, three groups of disgruntled Summoners: one group that is unhappy with inordinate amount of spell speed found on 2.4 gear, another group that is unhappy with the job's endgame (specifically FCoB) performance, and one where FF14's Summoner doesn't mesh with their view of what a Summoner is/should be. And all the complaining has created a fairly ugly atmosphere. But as you said, it's nothing but speculation. I hope in end, nothing changes about the job.
