I just want to know, when you play as WHM do you have preference for WAR or PLD?, and when you play SCH what tank you like to heal most?

As SCH: The tank that manages to A. Not be a total jerkbag, B. Hold hate, and C. Avoid taking unnecessary damage, in that order.
As WHM: See above.

Forget about Wolves' Den, or Frontlines, or hell, even The Feast - if you want real PVP action in this game, sell stuff on the market boards!
I whm only, at the moment.
Like Raji said, i'll take a tank that does their duty as best they can and not be complete assholes about it.
But actual healing, i find myself having easier times healing paladins (i guess its the cooldowns that help), and so if i seriously needed to choose between two equal tank players, i have a pali preference x.x
I have pugged into parties where the war were absolute beasts and i don't know where the hell they're hiding that damage (as in, huge mob = barely a scratch) but its rare.
I will absolutely take a nice/friendly mediocre tank over a godly but asshole tank, regardless the tank type.
Some WAR like to use Macros to tell you to Esuna Pacification. =/ It's like... 5 seconds or whatever. I have more important things to heal. I don't mind using Esuna on it when I have time but if you have a macro going off every time it gets kind of annoying.
Also PLDs have smaller HP pools (due to WAR skills) so my heals seem to do more. :P
It could also be just an alert to let the party know in general. Which I can appreciate, since a lot can happen in five seconds.
But generally speaking? Primarily White Mage. I've never actually done Scholar in any endgame stuff. So I tend to like healing Paladins. I don't know if it'd change if I was a Scholar, but Paladin's just seem a lot less... swingy I guess is the word. Just feels like I have to watch them a little bit less. But I've ran with good members of both tanking classes, and I'm sure I'll do the same when Dark Knight is out.
I mean they literally say "Cast ESUNA on me!" Or "Esuna me." Everytime they get Pacification. I can see your stats. I will heal it if I have time. I can understand if it was a notification to warn people it was happening but don't tell me to Esuna you, please.
And I agree on the PLD thing. I find that I have to babysit WARs more often. Not overly so, but it's generally a WAR if I am babysitting a tank.
NIN and DRG are the worst for babysitting though. Get. Out. Of. AoEs.
WHM perspective, I don't heal very often on my SCH aside from a few dungeons here and there.
With big pulls and multiple mobs I prefer to heal a Paladin, mostly due to the fact they are easier to heal during this time thanks to their Shield, Invuln, and a wide variety of cooldowns. I've found for the most part with a good Paladin I can spam Cure 1's with Regen and keep them up relatively easy on big pulls 8+ mobs. Maybe throw in a few Cure 2's when cooldowns are coming off, but nothing overly major.
Where as with a Warrior I have to spam Cure 2 non-stop just to keep them from dieing. Even with their cooldowns, it's just harder to keep them alive. Now don't get me wrong, critting for 4K (no cooldowns/buffs) Cure 2's on a Warrior is awesome, but still.
In a typical raid setting it can go either way, although typically I'm the designated healer for the Warrior just because I have an easier time getting them to full HP.
I like pld overall cuz of hollowed ground and cover.
Its easier to speed run them and i guess i just prefer defensive based cd tank over hp and hp related skills tank.
I don't play tanks but this what i see lol so it may be a bit off in terms of what tanks can do.
Doesn't matter which class i prefer to heal a Tank who has good vision and ability to understand the party. DF is always a bit random you don't know people so you need to understand them quickly and what they are good at and not good at to adjust. Some Tanks do handle this well and i can get a good understanding with them. I know what they will do next and they know what i will do and where i want to stand. I don't like Tanks who have bad habits like they run to a spot so i run to a safe area and hit some heals then they pull everything to my spot because they decided they would rather Tank there or something. After the first pull they would know i'll heal throw regens then come into the middle of their mobs start some holy spam to stun and take down mobs.
It's really just about a Tank who knows how to use their buffs and when they need to use them not panicking and using them when they know they have heals incoming or i still have benediction off CD as a safety net. If i can avoid the mad dog tunnelvision types i'm happy they are the absolute worst kind of Tank you can ever get.

I love using adlo on WAR for the big numbers. Defiance + Convalesce + echo = 1.6k adlo!!
