Did they say that? Because I really can't see him being anything more than a mid-boss.

"Demon Wall took steroids after they took his bees away" doesn't explain the rampant growth in the dungeon. I mean, there are vines attacking in the video, I expect something plant related. Perhaps Plant Brain from Final Fantasy IX.

Edda's storyline gave me goosebumps it was that amazing to me. But the HM may involve something that happens in the new content I'm thinking. Perhaps related to the rebellions in Ul'dah.

What about the teaser for Amdapor Keep (Hard) gave the impression Edda or Diabolos would be involved? I'd expect a nature/Elemental based boss/theme given how the place is overgrowing rampantly.

ExDeath would be my wildest theory, since there are a few similarities between the Black Shroud and the Great Forest of Moore, but that really is a wild theory.

It scream haunting and Edda was last known to be FF14 version of the Grudge.

I get more of a "mysterious forest" vibe from the beef of the music, rather than ghost stories... Even the mildly creepy part at the start just has me expecting a Space Pirate/Metroid fight more than Edda.

I also don't see how Edda could have gone from "Void Bride" to "Out of control Nature". Is it a case of every time she comes back she's changed the colour of her Magic deck?

That's not to say it's impossible, just nothing about the preview screams Edda at me... Somewhat creepy music might were the actual dungeon itself not sending opposite signals... The forest appears to be coming alive, which to me indicates a Plant Brain style boss, rather than "Edda is now a Geomancer and a Necroamcer"...

There were reports that she is supposed to get a happy ending so I anticipate the end of her story in moogle delivery quests... AKHM doesn't really have much time in...

Well consider Diabolos is known for nightmares, nightmares are dreams and potentially Edda's desire to be back with her love could lead her to make a pact with Diabolos to be stuck in a dreamworld in which she can always be with him.

Since I imagine people who are here finished the other HM dungeon her first attempt was to bring back Avere to life and of course we saw how that turned out and what became of her because of it, she fell into darkness and in the end fell into a dark abyss.

Diabolos is the perfect entity that could take advantage of this and since his location is close to the keep aka both in South Shroud it is very possible that there is something within the Keep that draws her and causes her to be used by Diabolos. AKA with her darkness she is able to become a vessel for Diabolos to collect nightmares and in return Diabolos agrees to give Edda the dream she longs for.

With that in mind though it doesn't mean she can't have a happy ending. She could easily be saved by the lalafell, drawing her away from the darkness and breaking her from the curse that she used to "revive" Avere. Though I mean "happy" is a bit wishy washy, her hands are stained with blood if I"m not mistaken, the lalafell is the only other living member and the other one died in the other dungeon, so even if she is pulled away from the darkness she'd have to burden the lives of two people rather than that of her late love.

But FFXIV White Magic/Conjury is all about nature. Using the elements of the forest and such, borrowing the power of the elementals etc. Conjurers/White Mages are geomancers by their very nature.

Redeemed Edda was outside Sastasha when you went too unlock Sastasha (HM) in 2.4~ Go look.

Does that only happens during the unlocking quest? I went there now (after I unlocked it long time ago) and I didn't see any NPC resembling her...

Why AK hard? Why not Thousand Maws, Cutter's Cry, Darkhold, or AV? Guess this means we'll start seeing hard modes of Lost City, WP, Pharos, Hullbreaker, and Snowcloak?
