The Shiva EX weapon is also nice to have if you've cleared T9, and don't want to waste precious raid days farming it but still want an acceptable entry-level weapon for FCOB.

As for yourself though, you have no argument to begin with. Are you going to complain also that the BCoB and SCoB are now also "in the garbage" because the FCoB and the Poetics gear makes them obsolete?

The complaint is not that the weapon itself is useless. The complaint is that S-E created new content with loot systems that are better designed than old content, so old content should be retrofitted accordingly, especially when their only purpose is glamour. Game design 101.
