When i saw the artwork I was thinking about the Galka/mithra combo, with big males and little females, but in game they render much more like elves.

This new race looks fabulous! I especially love the look of the muscular males (females look a little too porcelain for me...)

Looking forward to learning more of the lore behind this new race. I am assuming it has something to do with Shiva and her, umm affection for dragons. It would be interesting to see what Ishgard's opinion is off this race is. It is safe to assume then that Yugiri is a Au-Ra, I guess.

I actually kindof miss having my tail do half the work in my emotes. And being able to run places without a weapon drawn cauze my run looks bad. Not to say I don't like being a Hyur, but sometimes I do miss the little things.

I like the new race. maybe later we'll get an inverted from the norm sexually dimophisized race.

I prefer my girls to look attractive to me, therefore I am very pleased with the Au Ra female design, and quite look forward to fantasia'ing to it on the day of release. If that makes me sexist then so be it, I'm vain and I don't care.

it's a buzzword for people now, the "sexism" card is almost as over-used as the "racism" card. Almost.

it's Miqo'te....and the U tribe if you think about it is just like a Lion Pride in many ways and since the Miqo'te are very much like cat people that shouldn't be terribly surprising
