BEcause i don't really think that they should. However if i think that they do you should be allowed to turn in any version of curtana for the next relic weapon. Without upgrading it all the way.

Yeah well i dont really mind. i just worry that it would be inconvenient to go back and upgrade it all the way if it continues from where they are now.

i don't mid at all. but they way progression works, i can see them just nerfing the 2.x steps and even removing some to make them more affordable for new players and jobs.

What i can see happening. Is that they'll end this relic quest at 2.55 and when 3.0 comes out, there will be a NEW relic quest at lvl 60. Probably be the easier path for SE to take.

I think they should. People have put a lot of work into them and should be able to continue that progress. I do not think there should be a "skip option", as that degrades other's prior commitments. As long as there are alternatives, no exception should be given. Just IMO. I of course, do not speak for the vast majority.

Hopefully we get more stat options and unique stats so we'll have more weapon options (armor options as well). They can still keep Relics relevant while adding in other options.

Well i worry there wont be any viable option for weapons in heavensward's end game at the start if they do not allow something to skip some of it.

you think se will expect ppl to get an i80 relic and progress it through zenith,atma,animus,novus,nexus, current stage and 135 stage after expansion? When they can just go CT3 and get encrypted tomestone and boom ilvl 130 weapon?

Even look further into the future, when we got ilvl 200 weapons, you think se will expect people to spend a week at atma for a piece of crap outdated quest?

The current relic when it will go 135 to match DW weapons will without a doubt be it's final form. It's already taking the piss that u can get a shiva or soldiery weapon in an afternoon which is good enough for all current content, but getting a relic from ilvl 80-125 would take most players months?

I believe expansion will be a restart of everything. Wont need to clear previous raids/primals to to participate in expansion raids/primals. And not needing pre expansion relic to do expansion relic would fit beautifully with this.

I'm also butt hurt that I have a drg nexus when my main is a bard. Long story....
