Anyone finding RMT tells getting really excessive now?

Get very few on Odin compared to what it was like when the game started or even a few months ago.

OP, do you report these RMTs? Honest question as people tend to do as you say and just /blist them rather than take an active interest in getting them removed.

Same thing happening on Ultros for at least a good month now if not longer. I get around +30 RMT tells daily but I only Blist those that spam me every 5minutes. I used to report most RMT I'd see at the beginning but SE makes it feel like it's a waste of time so now I just ignore/blist.

They are back with a vengeance on Coeurl. It's almost to the point where it's worse than it was before they limited the number of tells. I guess they're just using more characters to shout now or something. So frustrating. Can't delete names from black list fast enough to keep up with all the new names. D;

I do in a large report, copy paste the msg into note pad, after like 5-6, then i make one GM ticket about it.

I have disable tells all together. It's plain insane now.

My blacklist was full of RMT spammers. Blacklisting is worthless when there are so many that your blacklist can't even hold them. Hence I have done the above and cleared my Blacklist - so it can be used for its actual purpose; blacklisting players who are pricks.

There are also bots operating in plain sight on my server. Reported them umpteen times. They are still there. I don't bother anymore now.

Not sure why I tolerate SE's sloppy enforcement of their own ToS - heck they even "got in on it" *cough*cash shop*cough* in a way - when they don't even fulfill simple player requests that have been asked for over a year (see signature).

I get no /tells on Tonberry, I have to check shard nodes to see if we have an RMT botting.

I think all the gil sellers are concentrating their efforts on the servers that buy the most gil.

Just blocked 5 RMT tells, 3 of them from the same site in less than 1 min. Today alone, i have blocked about 30 tells today that I have to play with /busy on. Its starting to get ridiculous. Have to clear my blist daily now.

Are the filters working or its starting to get overwhelmed? Anyone getting the same issues on other servers, I know its getting bad on my server of Adamantoise.

No because I go into General Option, Uncheck /Tell because its useless, its not made for players its made for RMT Sales.

I haven't seen a single RMT /Tell also I rarely get Friends invites once every so while I just decline blist that person but not bugged by RMT anymore.

When players begin to stop using that /Tell option you will see RMT Fade out.

Only thing they could do probably would shout in towns but that would put them in the open.

It's very bad on Leviathan, to the point where they have multiple advertising for the same site at once.

I get one, maybe two tells a day on Gilgamesh. Used to get a lot more back when I first started playing in August; back then it used to be one or two an hour.
