2 AM on a friday is all well and good if you have no prior commitments, but my partner works at 5 o clock in the morning, as do many others. I am not waking him up just to pick a time for our game wedding. My presence should be enough for selecting a time. You have no idea how frustrating it is waking up this early only to be outbooked this way

I agree with you. Sadly however, marriage has been monetized. Even if you pick the free plan, you are still using a e-commerce site and therefore SE is doing the safe thing and ensuring that both parties get to fully experience their product. It's a business strategy, a weirdly implemented one, but a strategy all the same.

I understand it's a team thing, but make it at a time when both parties are awake. I feel so bad for anyone who has gotten the gold or regular plan. They are NEVER gonna get a slot. The plats had them all booked in 2 secs flat. Maybe have one week platinum, the next gold, then regular. That way everyone gets a shot.

No matter what time they change it to, someone won't be able to make it due to time zones.

So instead, what they should do, is change the registration time every week (and announce it in advance, like every saturday there should be a bulletin for the upcoming registration time).

They could even make it automated. Like every week it changes by 3 hours (week 1: 12am, week 2 3am, week 3 6am, etc...)
