shouldn't be too long till bard nerfing

especially since SE hates us. with my current gear and only one bis piece i can reach 659.9 crit the entire fight 718.8 for 15seconds. i proc bloodletter so much it's crazy. by the next gear set 850+ shouldn't be unthinkable and with it i see a nerf incoming which i kind of understand. we'd shoot up a lot in dps and become the most tp manageable most likely. sigh :/. hopefully we get to experience the glorious massive crit for at least a week before being smashed with the hammer of doom.

I really doubt they are going to nerf any potencies or blood letter %s. They better not. Our nerf was already bad enough and our DPS is a joke compared to any other dps job.

We are already getting nerfed basically every patch a new item level weapon comes out though. The base attack damage of our weapon compared to the other DPS jobs keeps getting lower and lower with every patch they release, and if this trend continues, the gap is going to widen further with each coming patch. So I would consider that a nerf already. It doesn't matter how many times we proc blood letter because the damage is crap compared to other jobs, and getting lucky with the blood letter procs is pretty much the only way our damage output doesn't become more laughable than it already is.

my damage as a bard isn't all that bad and with 659.9 crit i proc bloodletter a lot and with internal release i can usually spam it. i can also pull from geared up tanks on fights like shiva because of our burst damage. i don't want it to happen but i think it will. SE really hates us and you helped show by pointing out our weapon damage keeps getting worse with worse stats and a lot of our gear is complete trash :/

I think you should look at dps and not that crit when all FIVE of your buffs are popped.

Also, use quelling strikes when you "burst". Pulling agro from tanks isn't something you should be boasting about....

Does it even matter if BRDs get nerfed? The way SE has designed the game, they're mandatory anyway, so it's not like your party slot is in danger.

I think before bard gets nerfed black mage should get a Nerf imo blm is very op and I don't care if they have to move or what not even with the moving around they are still op in my book. Wonder when se is going to Nerf them.

BLM just got a buff, to keep up with other DPS. The only benefit to Blackmages was AoE, any single target damage was overshadowed by all else. And yes, move intense battles do have an effect still. No nerf needed.

BLM only really over powered in fights with zero movement. And nobody cares about those...gotta laugh every time I see people quoting t8 dps T_T


But on fights with a lot of movement, blm skill ceiling rises a freaking lot, and keep damage high is very tricky indeed.

As we get higher level items, crit rate goes higher. Higher crit rate = more procs for bards. SE will probably place a certain cap at one point.
