A response would be nice. There's obviously a lot of vocal debate about this from both sides. They should rip the bandaid off and acknowledge it immediately with what they think the future of the cash shop is so that people have a chance to finally either quit or accept it or rejoice. It'll be better than all this arguing over whether the content will always be gated (cash shop only, or if it'll be in-game obtainable at some point), and what they consider to be p2w or not.

I don't even care about my own point of view anymore. Just a real answer so I can decide if/how to adapt.

OK then. If they're optional, how about we take glamour away and put that in the cash shop? I mean, it's optional after all. Dyes? Optional. Unique armor models? Optional. Hairstyles? Optional. Coil? Optional. Extreme modes? Optional.

They already said there will never be anything in game required to pursue content that would be available in the cash shop.

HOWEVER...

If the only way to share a house between two people is through the cash shop, that is an incorrect statement.

I feel like this person isn't pinpointing what it is exactly they are afraid of, and instead generalise.

I will be disappointed if marriage is only able to have two people share a house via a fancy mogstation purchase... but I will do it anyway. I want it, they have it, and unfortunately, where there is a market there will be buyers and sellers.

sadly it's pointless you have the pro cash shop people that have become more vocal than the people against it... then people against this sort of stuff have become.... well the minority, even if technically is not true. they are simply more vocal. i did notice that a lot of people for the cash shop are new player with low forum count... but well it means nothing.

in less of 2 month the cash shop did see added to the content:
- 3 seasonal item
- 3 exclusive Dye
- 1 exclusive minion
- 3 option for the eternal bond.

i wonder how many item will be added at the next patch...

when a few metallic dyes are available in the game already, they should not have put the others in the cash shop- that doesn't really sit well with me

I am against a cash-shop but if people want to pay thirty dollars for a slightly different skin on a mount, whatever, but for some reason adding dyes, just really bothers me lol

Isn't their decision response enough? What are you looking for aside from them just telling you "hey we get that some of you don't wanna pay for things, but we kinda want you to pay for things... sorry bout it." Cause if that's what you're looking for, they've already said it without saying it and you need to just get over it. Yoshida isn't gonna email you himself begging you not to be pissed at him for running a business
