"Ninja have Trick Attack" argument is kidna poor since its incresing everyones DPS.

I guess if they brought out a class that hits things with a wet noodle for 10 DPS, but passively increases other party members' damage dealt by 30%, it would be considered a good class.
Oh and the fact that everyone seems to make it sound like TA is some god tier ability doesn't change much monk is still on top SE Continues to think its a hard job and progression groups will still run with 2 monks TA is not as good as people exaggerate it to be
No, its not poor. Trick attack is NIN's damage. You attribute all the damage that they gain through that increase towards NIN. Just like how when DRG used disembowel, you give the extra BRD damage to DRG.
Ninja uses very little TP compared to DRG and MNK, which makes little sense... Unless you're doing AoE, you shouldn't even be near ever having a TP problem. As someone who mains NIN in final coil, I am fine with the nerfs so long as the buffs dragoons receive is equal to or greater than the damage I am losing. Anyone saying NIN damage is okay needs to get real. They do near MNK damage with trick attack, which is a ridiculous damage boost to 6 people (at minimum) every 60~70 seconds. TP changes, I do not know why they are doing that, maybe adding a TP cost to trick attack/sneak attack, who knows.
Have you ever played ninja in final coil ninjas have tp problems just like other melee they have the same tp costs as monk right now the only thing that helps them a little is mudras they still run out with about 40 sec left on invigorate cd only going to be worse on patch.

True, I can definitely agree with the sentiment on that. My concern is with the double whammie they are receiving. But no one can really know how severe it will be until the numbers are released. Just makes me wonder how many will jump shit because of a DPS loss. I'm interested for the 9th.
They do have TP issues, but not like BRD/MNK/DRG, when you are using mudras you get free time for filler TP no other DPS job in the game gets to do that without losing DPS. Especially when Kassatsu is up, and you can use mudras back to back, you gain quite a bit of TP. So I can see the reasoning behind it.Have you ever played ninja in final coil ninjas have tp problems just like other melee they have the same to costs as monk right now the only thing that helps them a little is mudras they still run out with about 40 sec left on invigorate cd only going to be worse on patch.

If slight nerfs to their damage and TP increases (which we all saw coming anyway..) are enough to turn a person off a class, should they really be playing it?
Trick Attack will still be useful for raids, that sweet damage increase!
As for me personally, I'm happy for DRG and this isn't enough to make me stop playing NIN, (We don't even know how bad the nerfs will be yet people are crying doomsday) especially the time I invested into making it amazing. (Crafted i110 set, etc)
My sentiments exactly. As I said earlier, so long as the DRG increase is >= NIN dmg loss, I am perfectly fine to the hammer we are about to receive. If slight nerfs to their damage and TP increases (which we all saw coming anyway..) are enough to turn a person off a class, should they really be playing it?

Swapping 60 for 50 TP will not be so bad. However, if Ninja falls behind Dragoon and Monk in DPS they will be replaced in raids. Utility alone is not enough to give Ninja a spot at the table, and I'm not looking forward to going back to Monk as the only "option" for melee DPS.If slight nerfs to their damage and TP increases (which we all saw coming anyway..) are enough to turn a person off a class, should they really be playing it?
