I have to spend 10 dollars on one Fantasia and it only goes to one character on my account? What happened to every character gets a Fantasia SE? Did you decide to become too cheap and start price gouging your playerbase?

Speaking of the cash shop, I wonder what overpriced stuff you'll add in and WHEN you'll add to it.

I have 2 Fantasias (I think technically all of my characters have at least 1 if not 2), I think one was from being a CE owner and the other.. um, I don't remember. Might have just been that they gave everybody one who played at a certain point. Or was one a veteran reward? I'm not sure, but I have 2 that are just collecting dust. I'd sell them for bookoo Gil if I could.

As far as the Cash Shop goes, just don't use it. I don't, and won't until there's something reasonably priced in it that is worth buying. At the moment nothing in that cash shop is worth the value they have placed on them. So I won't be wasting my money on that. It's as simple as that.

The fine print was it was a temporary system and won't be how they intend to distribute them. That's why you could only buy a limited amount then when you bought them all you could get no more.

You can buy unlimited amounts now. Also you get one for free.

Honestly, $10 is rather cheap for being able to change everything about your character's appearance.

There's another game I play, that actually sells an appearance change item AND a gender change item...SEPARATELY!.

SO...if I wanted, in that game, to completely change ONE of my character's appearance and gender...I'm looking at $30.

AH! But what about name change? That's ANOTHER $20 I have to drop, whilst here its only $10.

FF14 is definitely the better deal at $20 for what would essentially be a completely different character.

This guy has the right idea. If enough people vote with their wallets, the price will go down.
Fantasia's are only $10 because that is what Squeenix thinks everyone is willing to pay. And as long as it gets sales, it will stay $10.

I bought a 3 pack of Fantasias a while back, made a new character last week and it recieved the VetSub reward 1 + 3 from what i assume is my purchase of that 3 pack.

Did something change?
Even if it did, WoW charges $30 dollars to completely change your Race + Faction. But also charges 30 dollars to do an Appearance change (Race/Gender/Name locked) and ALSO charges you $30 dollars to do an InFaction Race Change. Then charges you $20 for a Name Change.
On a SINGLE character. Got two characters you want to bring from Horde to Alliance? Hope you have money coming out your ears.

Have to agree with the Op here, though I don't feel fantasias are too terribly priced, saying that the player base wanted them to give one for $10 vs one on each character for $10 was a huge let down. Yes I play a lot of alts and to get something i got 8 of for the same price of now getting one it seems very backwards. Sure, you couldn't stack them before but you could have tossed them off your alt or just never opened the mail.
