fate's for relic books

It's got really depressing now for relic books most of the fates barely pop and it's terrible SE should add a timerror to the fates on when they going pop up. I've waited 12 hours on 1 fate and no show on it another was almost 20 hours and no show this is bad please fix it SE

Yeah book fates have always been a nightmare, and chances of book fates being gone if you d'ont camp them is high because of the insane amount of Ninjas leveling up.
Not very well planned out indeed.

Spent 2 hours waiting for Seps last night, and so far today another hour and a half. Seen Svara pop up 2 or 3 times now. I thought they said they were increasing the frequency of these damn fates. It's pretty absurd that people are having to spend their time for fates like these doing nothing but waiting, because of how fast they get burned down. The time I've sat and done nothing but wait today alone, my fiance was able to finish her main scenario, trial AND low level roulettes, as well as her Ixal dailies.

When I did Seps I killed about 10 dragonflies and it popped, not sure if this is a coincidence or not but Reddit suggested that is what to do. Keep in mind as well some of the fates are 2 part fates so if yours doesn't pop (Enmity of my Enemy, Breaching the Tidegate are 2 that come to mind) make sure you are clearing fates in the area.

Also, I feel that FATEs need to pop based on demand - I am sure it was worse pre-2.4 but to get to the FATE you need, get as much enmity/actions/whatever in and end up with silver is a bit non-sensical because that means casual players will have to do more waiting around and they know it won't pop soon.

Also WTF is this "clear other FATEs first if yours won't pop" BS??? Clearly there is a NEED for these FATES if SE put them in these damned books, but that excuse is laughable...

I feel that if they really have to make fates rarely appear, there must be a kind of forecast npc who will give you some kind of clue as to what hour the monsters are likely to appear. Just let you know if there's no activity any time soon.

With the latest patch and them increasing the drop rate I was really hoping they'd consider doing something about the animus book fates. The atma can drop lickety split now, but when we get the relic atma you are still stuck waiting for endless hours for the book fates. The soldiery grind doesn't bother me. The dungs, enemies, and leves don't bother me either. Fates really wouldn't bother me, but there's only so much sb crafting I can do while I wait 4 or something hours for one of those super rare fates to pop. It's either find something else to do like cleaning or Netflix, or sit and aimlessly watch and wait for hours on end for a single fate to pop up. Relic animus is pretty subpar now anyways with the ease of getting the weathered soldiery weapons that outclass animus by 10 levels, so why does this part of the relic quest still have to be such a time sink, SE?

SE have said, they do not want players progressing too fast (too fast=before expan$$$ion!)

Lacking do two books, I gave up. Book of Diamonds is enough for me. Farm Unidentified Allagan Tomestone and Sands of Time is more fast than atma/books.

I am not looking forward to this aspect again. I just got my last bunch of Atmas last night to upgrade my Stardust Rod to begin the books. I don't mind the dungeons, enemies or leves, but I hated waiting for these fates when I did my scholar and white mage relics.
