This was never S-E's problem. Complaining here could not have resulted in a resolution. The issue was with Ormuco's router at 192.34.76.2. This isn't the first time that this router has pooped itself and caused people grief trying to reach FFXIV. It also doesn't affect everyone, only those being routed through that machine. People need to learn how to do basic network troubleshooting before hoping on the forums and complaining.

You do realize that Ormuco "ORMUCO-FIBER-NETWORK" aka "Eidos-Montréal" is a subsidiary of the interactive entertainment product publisher Square-Enix right? Should probably read up 1st before saying it isn't their problem. I have been doing networking at the enterprise level for close to 15 years now. However that doesn't mean anything, and unless you work at Ormuco even you do not know what is going on. Just because you can't get past 192.34.76.2 doesn't mean its a router or that it is down.
