I don't know about a "happy" ending per se… just a resolution of some sort.
But yeah, it'd be pretty cool if she got a whole horror genre storyline. This game could use a little grit.

Edda should be the Guildmaster for the Necromancer's Guild.

Well it wouldn't actually be a guild yet, because you meet her when she's first starting out and you are her first guild member. She recognizes you as the adventurer from before and recruits you to gather more parts for her husband while also searching for people to join the new guild. It would actually be cool to help start a guild from nothing instead of always joining ones which have existed for years and years and have official sanction from city governments. You would be operating out of sight from the various governments and the quest lines would be like the Dark Brotherhood quests in The Elder Scrolls.

Unfortunately, Edda seems to have crossed the line and I doubt she'll could be an ally anymore.

She's been a hit by the fans, so I can at least her maybe being in tam tara extreme. Or maybe even a new one.

If they didn't add in the 2spooky4meme XD ending, she would have. Death would have given her liberation, it's the reason she's content as she fell down into the abyss. But instead they decided to cheapen that by showing her as a ghost haunting Paiyo Reiyo - though, to be fair, it might not have been a ghost and instead Paiyo's regret and guilt personified as a grimly Edda. If the last we hear of Edda is this HM, then I'd say it's pretty likely it wasn't an apparition. If we come back in Tam Tara Extreme and we have to fight the ghost of Edda... that's going to be stupid as hell on so many different levels, but I wouldn't be surprised.

I'd like to see Edda and Avere come back as a fusion. Like the Yunalesca fight but creepier.
