    Didn't it say that the minstel to get the Ultima HM played it up a lot? What's to say he couldn't just make an ever crazier story? Wouldn't break lore, he'd just be lying. Maybe you tell him about your trials with Levi, Ramuh, and Shiva and he tacks a new part onto his original ballad.

    As for the idea of this fight, NO PLEASE GOD NO I HAD ENOUGH TROUBLE WITH THE MINSTREL'S BALLAD

    I was seriously about to say this same thing. Lore wouldn't matter if the minstrel was telling the story. He just makes it up so we sound more amazing.
