Haha thanks maxwell! I actually had a moment of inspiration this morning while setting up the breakfast at work, and i am going to make the banners with yellow yed and blue over lays and have them go daiaganol instead of straight. Hopefully it looks as good irl as in my head. Haha. ^^

So since we are picking only 4 of each for this first round...are we narrowing the contest a bit? I mean are we dropping people faster to get it to a final number, I know the plan was to merge the male and female models once it was down to a handful, id just hate to see many go in the first week when there could be a bit more potential.

Also, this first round was a bit confusing for me, the theme was Grand Company yet I didn't get that feeling with more than a few pictures. Anyone else feel that way?

Don't worry. Only 1 person from the ladies and 1 person from the gentlemen will be eliminated. (Unless its a double elimination! Oooo) The 4 votes for each has nothing to do with that. ^^

Low votes just help ensure -most- voters are only voting for the pictures that are "the strongest" (on average by public opinion) and not wasting votes on models with weaker photos but are friends/have pretty characters/etc. I've always been one to say use 1 vote for your favorite model (regardless of how strong or weak their photo is) and the rest to vote for the strongest photos. ^^

The theme was very open ended, if you read the description. Some really do scream out GC though compared to others don't they? Really cool to see what different people produce under the same guidelines. Hehe. I think all fit the theme they were provided though, some stronger than others for sure, but that will be the same in every photoshoot.

OMG! I think I just died a lil' on the inside seeing that... I NEED THIS MINION ; ;, and it sucks because I just recently reset my lvl 50FSH retainer to a CNJ before 2.4, b/c I didn't see the point in having a FSH retainer (apparently it's been said you get a chance of this minion from the new Water Exploration venture.)

To stay on topic, how goes the round 2 shoots fine models? I think I finally figured mine out and have a few good ones I'm contemplating with (even if I don't make it to round 2, I still can't wait to share them with you all!)

Um, oh, sorry to nitpick or whine, but I only just noticed - my name is spelled wrong in this competition... It's Nunh, not Nuhn, hehe. Not that I am offended. But... My votes aren't invalid because of that, right?
