I fully agree with this post, I mean its not like Final Fantasy as a franchise hasn't been turning out groundbreaking content and achieved a massive near cult like following or anything say for a quarter of a century, I don't understand how people can be so rude.
Thanks to the OP for making this thread.
And also thankyou developers for continuing to bring rich vibrant worlds and incredible storys to life for the likes of us devoted Final Fantasy followers.

I agree with basically all of the OP, the amount of content put out and the consistent schedule it's put out on are worthy of praise. I have praised it in the past, several times, even the botched implentation of hunts when they initially came in didn't phase me because I knew they'd fix it eventually.

However, the cash shop worries me. It's not like it was an accident like the occasional mistakes in previous patches, it won't be "fixed" in another update and it honestly makes me worry about the direction the game is heading in. I voice my concerns about it because I like this game and I care about it's future.

Cash shop does not bother me a bit AS LONG AS they sell only cosmetic gears and past outdated seasonal events and "special" mounts or NOT needed, superfluous, unnecessary items or gears or whatever they want to sell. It is a way for players to show their support for the developers without making other who do not buy feeling inadequate.

Totally agree, every time I look at one of the numbered patches (.1/.2 etc.) I'm floored by the amount of content that is added. I mean by now, by patches alone we have easily gotten more content than the average paid expansion for any other MMO. This makes me wonder just how huge the ACTUAL expansion is going to be.

Then to see people do nothing but tear down every little thing really just pisses me off to be honest.

I'm pleasantly surprised that the wedding attire is vendor bought and that the i110 gear are not lv 1 glamor that requires hard to get mats. It's actually useful and worth the gil.
