I'm wondering if that's what SE is aiming for.
I'm wondering if that's what SE is aiming for.
Going by from what I've read here on the forums by the moderators 1.18 took much longer than expected but now that it's done development has sped up faster than expected. I'm not privy to what is supposed to be in each of the next two big patches but I'd say yes on being out before September 21 with a PS3 release by November/December.
I have been speculating that this is what they're hoping for too. Then if all is well, they will finish up the Ps3 version and start the payment system up.
I've also been wondering if they'll release the first expansion along with the Ps3. Similar to FF11 NA release getting Zilart.
Unless I'm mistaken we should see the first of the Job System in the next patch. Also the Materia Crafting System, and Chocobos/Airships.
I highly doubt the PS3 version will be out anytime before Summer 2012. Seems unlikely that they would release it so son without trying to advertise it first. I'd place my bets on it being released along with the first expansion. But yeah, I hope we get 1.20 before October.
Didn't they say Job System comes after 1.19? I hope they at least remove physical level and make attribute point allocations class specific by 1.19 or sooner though.
I agree, I hope they don't post-pone the removal of the physical level to coincide with the implementation of Jobs.
I also thought that jobs was 1.20, and that 1.19 was focusing on materia system and methods of transport with tweaks to the new core battle system. Also thought they made mention that PS3 release would probably be around the time they implement Ishgard (I have no proof of this and I could've merely dreamed it up; but I thought I read it somewhere, idk...)
Job system reported for 1.20+ (meaning no where near)
1.19 = further advancement of the battle system, physical level, chocobos, animations
We don't know where Ifrit will sit, since its suppose to be schedule to be done "by end of summer".
I hope they have time to fix the party system, BR, and AH/MW somewhere inbetween. Those are desperately needed support systems.
