SP nerfed. We were lied to.

Except that's wrong because he mentioned what he had in store for patch 1.19, and furthermore it has been brought up that patch 1.18 is infact ground work. Let's not forget it's not officially a lie until he has put out all the changes he intended to and it's still "slow" in the prospect of what you define as "nerfed". Since, he did say that's what he had in store for the future, not only what he had in store for patch 1.18.

You act as if I have my own interpretation of the statement in that letter. Saying that ranking up process will not be nerfed is a very direct and specific statement in regard to patch 1.18. You can quote other letters or statements he has made elsewhere but in his latest statement those are his statements.

I mean shit, what do you do if your girlfriend tells you she's going to the mall and she decides to go to a movie instead? Do you make her feel like shit all night because you were lied too?

Using that example all I have done is let her know that she lied. I have not made any statements that would make her feel bad. It was her decision to deceive, I am merely reacting to her deception by pointing it out. Some of you keep saying it is OK that she went to the movies instead of the mall as if that was the issue. I have never talked about whether it is OK or not. I just mentioned that she lied.

But you DO have your own interpretation, and by making any sort of deal about it (Like say, making a post about it), you intend to let them know so they feel guilty, otherwise you'd have said whatever to yourself and moved on because it's not a huge deal. But I stand by my view that until everything has been hashed out and done and "finalized" that it's not even close to being a lie, especially if there's already some effort into compensation for FIXING an SP system. You could even go as far as to call it a change, since I seriously can't imagine what kind of progress people would be making with the old SP system with no fatigue system.

That is not my intention. I just wanted to point out a deception and see if others had noticed it too. This is a forum buddy, you post things. Every thread has some who agree and some who don't. One would assume those who think the poster is wrong wouldn't mind him and move on to other topics of their interest.

I don't know what letter you read but it was a letter to address the near future and talked about specific interest for 1.18. Other wise he wouldn't have said anything that's to come further down the line. Also, that's what an interpretation IS, how YOU perceive it, whether it be for fact or opinion (As to whether it's deception or "lying" or not). Apparently not many people noticed (or agreed, atleast no in the pages I've skimmed over, it's 77 pages and I don't care to read everything) that it was lying as all they've said is they want their EXP gains to be faster, with a few complaints about MP.

The mere fact of making sure that a person acknowledges if they lied or changed their mind (in the scenario I posted), means that you want them to dwell on it, which in turn causes guilt.

As to if my G/F "lied" to me or not, I wouldn't mind if she decided to CHANGE HER MIND on something absolutely inconsequential. Now if she were to cheat on me with absolutely no remorse what so ever, that's a different story, but an entirely different discussion.

The analogy was over her going to the movies versus going shopping. If you think that is a grave offense, then. . . well I don't know whats wrong. Its a fickle minor thing. Just like what you are arguing over with 1.18.
