So yeah, no new classes, gear, or expanded residential areas tomorrow.

Servers have to be brought down to patch the game. This maintenance is for both 2.4 *and* server maintenance, which is routine for large patches on MMOs. Also, you may want to look up the definition of accompany. ;P

"be present or occur at the same time as (something else)."

Even if the wording may seem a little strange, they announced at the recent Fan Festival that patch 2.4 would be live on October 28th.

Lol first off Happy Birthday! Secondly, I'm not sure why you're so hellbent and convinced of thinking that tomorrow isn't 2.4 because, I assure you it is! Once the patch is up and people have downloaded it, and the maint. is over, people will be able to log on and enjoy 2.4 content to the fullest (assuming no game breaking bugs pop up.)

You do realize that accompany means "to go at the same time or occur at the same time" right?

the maintenance is for 2.4 among other stuff which is why it so long.

It's not for the content, really. It's long due to the housing stuff that people complained about, so the database work and to handle more instances is why it's taking so long. Something like the 2.4 content, based on the notes alone, isn't a full day's work to implement.

I wasn't hunting trolls or trying to troll or anything. ;-; Just wanted to try and help you understand. The wording is pretty strange on the news post.

Sorry that it happened to be your bday. However, the patch looks really good. Once you get on and play some of the new content you'll probably forget about the time you waited to play.
