Temple rubbing after an RMTer tell...

So, let's set the stage and how it happened...

I had just teleported out to horizon to get some work done on a low level job only to get
multiple RMT tells and a friend request from one of them... so like any other day i add them
to my Blist and i go to decline the friend request... only to have my PS3 think it would be
funny to lag out and accept it... instantly i got mail from them...

Should have censored the website links, that counts as RMT advertising aswell lol, just edit your pic before it gets deleted and gets you forum banned

It's a shame that, currently, the only way to keep from RMT spammers from sending you a friend request (thus delaying you in adding them to your black list) is to set your status as /away

Gill sellers are quite possibly the most annoying aspect of any MMO, i share your detest for them with a sheer passion, i guess that's because i am not dumb enough to buy gill so i don't want to be constantly bombared with advertisments to buy it.. just like a salesmen that refuses to take no for an anwser untill you actually end his life.

In some online dream world maybe one day they live in a hole, but so long as pathetic people buy gill, we'll have to deal with this crap.

Busy keeps them away assuming you won't expect any other tells/ party invites, when i had to deal with them on my old, crappy server i simply blisted them as soon as i log on by looking for them. but that gets annoying.

Then you notice that they're not sending you RMT spam and you don't hit that macro.

This is frustrating yes I would appreciate it if SE did a slight change to how friend requests work. Right now when an RMT sends the request we have to choose not to accept it and then also choose to decline it. It seems to me that if we choose not to accept a friend request, it should automatically reject and remove the request.

Its like a yes or no question that rephrases itself afterward and makes you answer the same question again.

oh sorry, I don't know how macros work lol. I thought it was automatic if someone sent you a request.
