    Like a couple allready said. Learn to tank.

    Our Tanks were right after Patch.. "oh wtf...". But since most of them were PLD's in FFXI they figured how to hold hate after a couple fights. Now its more than fine and generating enmity starting to make sense, which wasnt the Deal pre-patch. Enmity System was more than broken. Now SE fixed it, and you guys complain? lol

    Goood-ee, a nibble. The solution in many mmo's what ones have you use heals to make up for your lack of actual aggro generating skills. Now forgive me here, I have only been playing MMORPGs since UO -1t2a, but generally the way hate is accrued in battle is through attacks and taunting maneuvers, not using heals from mage classes. I guess I was playing different games for the past 10 years(is it 12 now?).

    "Never heard of paladins? Because you know, that's what's going to become the main tank as soon as jobs get implemented. Guess it may be a good idea for people that want to tank to start to get used to the idea of using heals as additional hate generators.

    Mind you, dunno if you noticed, but healing yourself increase your survivability, guess what? it helps tanking.

    What are you getting at? Paladins are generally the anti-undead tanks... ya know.. cleric... smite the dead... mixed with warrior.... yeah... is the only game you've ever played FFXI?

    Tanks, help your conjurer's MP management-difficulties! Make use of your MP resources and contribute to both healing and it's associated emnity generation. Doesn't mean you do it exclusively, but remember that you are playing an all-purpose soloable class here and have diverse capabilities.

    It's really a no-brainer.

    The amount of elitism in this thread is amazing. Never seen so many people think they are god's gift because they can hold hate on a mob. The best is that one guy who thinks training as an FFXI Paladin makes a difference in this game... lol.

    You need to re-examine the definition of elitism, simply explaining people how it is possible to hold hate in an enmity system that is not completely broken as the previous one was is not it. So elitism is being able to do anything as long as there is one person who can't do it?

    It will likely get tweaked, but it is not as broken as some people make it seem and honestly with the enmity gauge I think aggro management has been made plenty accessible to people new to the concept.

    I haven't seen one mention of Accomplice yet here, that's a shame. Lowering someone's hate and increasing your own simultaneously? Pretty damn awesome if you ask me.

    I tanked for leve's and a bunch of other random mobs and never once did I have issues with hate against a 30 Con and 28 Arc. /shrug. Not saying you didn't have issue's but like ffxi, hate shouldn't be a matter of hitting a couple buttons and its yours. It should be about carefully managing your hate and DPS watching thiers. Spamming cure 2's / AoE / is a good way to die. No matter how good of a tank you are.

    You guys wanted FFXI-2 that is what we are getting. Curaga in XI was like instant death. Remember those "radical" changes we all agreed to?

    Everyone is so used to easy mode that they forgot to actually play FF mmo. I say cudos to SE.
