Art Contest Rules are up

Hi everyone!

The deadline for the London Fan Festival Art Contest has been extended! We will now be taking entries to Wednesday 15th October!

Could you also change the rules about resubmissions, please?

The rules say "Only one Entry per Contestant. If Contestants submit multiple Entries, only the first Entry submitted will be accepted." but you've announced the extension after the original deadline actually passed so right now everyone who submitted on time is at a disadvantage because they had five less days to have finished their work.

ETA: Also, do submissions have to be in by a particular time on Wednesday (like it was originally meant to be 10am GMT today) or is it just by midnight GMT?

please allow us who have actually managed to submit in time to make edits if need be, i worked really hard staying up late to finish mine and sent it in a panic, only to find out the proof colour is incorrect and it will appear terrible in print, i wish to adjust it and resubmit.
please allow us to resubmit if we already have at least once, thank you!

All of this. I just want to add my voice to everyone elses when it comes to airing our disappointment. There really isn't much incentive to join this contest in the first place due to the lacklustre prize but to have such a short deadline...even with the 5day extension...is frustrating. I want to take part to have the chance of people maybe seeing my work but between full time work and sewing a cosplay in preparation for the event, I can't see me getting it done. *sadface*

This upsets me. I'm from Belgium, I live minutes away from Germany. I'm a very passionate digital artist and I almost had my entry ready... It would have been so exciting to enter.

I seriously don't even care about the deadline or the prizes. I'm going to the fan event in London and I just really wanted to enter this contest.

Elmoria, why is the contest only open for UK, France, Germany and Spain? A signed version of their content arts will get sent to them, so why would you only accept entries from these 4 countries?

It's really ridiculous and doesn't make sense at all.

More than 50% of your visitors to UK fan fest (my guess at least) won't be able to attend to this contest, while I thought this was the European Fan Fest?

To those who dont live in the countries listed, why not list your closest listed country that you have a trusted friend/relative in and if you win have it sent to them and they can send it to you.
i dont see what the issue would be in this, if you are attending fanfest itself, why not just enter ^^

I sent my Art as Belgian, it mean, it wont be chosenf for the 40 winners, even if it does look good ?

I would be really disapointed, I spent 20h+ drawing it.

I dont care if I'm not one that is chosen for the 4 winners and get is art print and autographs of the team, I know I dont stand a chance, there is better Artists then me.
But at least, dont reject my Art piece for a possible winner of the 40, what does it change if i'm from Belgium ? I wont win the top prize anyway, you wont have to sent my Art in Begium.

If you're looking for a good deed for the day and you can write passable German, please consider letting the German forums know about the deadline extension? They've had no mod post about it and none of the lodestone or fanfest pages have been updated with it either.

Can we please get some kind of confirmation on this please?
there is only 3 days left according the forum post of the extension, those of us who want to enter need to know if this is correct, and those of us who have already entered need to know if we can make adjustments to our submitted picture and re-submit it.

Well, I submitted my drawing as well. As a Belgian. ^^ I finished most of the drawing before actually hearing that Belgium is not allowed to participate, and I felt kinda sad about that... So, there we go, I sent it and I'll cross my fingers. Just reaaaaally want to become a finalist (not a winner). Exciting.
