I don't regret buying my ticket but I'm staying home next year .

Exactly, no chance I will attend in future years unless it was in my own state.

If it wasn't in Vegas I would truly be angry.
Not angry because of one in-game item everyone mad about, but that you still get all the info just watching online now. The premium gets tour walkthroughs and everything.

This is very good news for those who do not have the chance to go to Vegas or who could not get tickets and are really a fan of Final Fantasy.

Personally, it would have been appropriate for the item being exclusive to those who physically participated in the event, but I am very happy that Square is given the opportunity to a greater number of fans. There will be several small Moogle in Eorzea!

I'm sure the event will be exciting for everyone who attends it! See you in one week in Vegas!!

The only issue I have with this is they should have announced it at the start instead of waiting until just under two weeks to the event. Just seems... under handed and cash grabby to me is all.

I had a feeling one thing was going to happen, and I was right.

More people will be happy about this than displeased, because of how few tickets there are. I really wanted that moogle dlc... If it wasn't for me to have the chance of getting all my stuff signed and selling it on ebay later for big bucks because people go crazy over autographed crap, I would be very upset. (Even though I already am.)

Hopefully my group of friends and I will team up with some asians, and not a group of monkeys.

I think the point of this disclaimer was to deter anyone who only had interest in the in-game item and would spend the money on tickets but had no intention of attending the festivities, thereby shutting out those who actually did want to take part in fanfest.

I wonder when they're giving us details on the stream. It's only a little over a week away, and we don't even know if it's limited, how much it costs, or when we can sign up.

It was a deciding factor for me, along with being first to get some information about new content in the game, seeing some stuff before anyone else got to, and finding out what was going to happen in the panels. All of which are now available without having to pay for airfare, a hotel, and actually physically putting ourselves out travelling and rushing around. It clearly states that no one else but attendees would get the in-game item, and it still says so on the site, at least as late as yesterday, and it's simply not true. People who stay at home and pay for a premium ticket get them as well.

They haven't even given enough details for me to decide if i'd rather just cut my losses and stay home. Is the Moogle Attire the same in both cases? Is there any content i'd miss by not going, except for some games and a dealer room, and a few physical items? Are the online premium tickets unlimited, so i can be sure to get one? How much are they?

I have basically a week to decide if i'm going through with the trip. I have stuff i have to do to prepare still. I also have to have notice as to whether i'm not going to need to take off work those days. (I have, but i could still go if i have enough notice.) I need to pack, purchase food and a couple of more items for the trip... I can't make a decision and do these things at the last minute. It's inconvenient for a lot of people that they keep waiting to reveal information that is pretty vital until long after tickets were purchased, especially things like this in the last few days.

I put off another trip and a large purchase for something like three months until after this event was happening. Now it turns out i probably don't even need to go. Yeah, i'm glad that i have the luxury to complain about such a thing, and yeah, no one forced me to plan to go, but it's still annoying and inconvenient.

I'd like to know if these VIP ticket and online streaming plans existed before the ticket sales or not. It just feels pretty rotten that they'd wait to reveal everything until afterwards.

I don't think they did. EU sales had VIP tickets from the get go and got a positive response, so they evidently went "Oh! Maybe the NA folks would like that too!" I get a feeling that a lot of the planning for this fan fest has been flying by the seat of the pants.

I really, truly feel sorry for anyone who purchased a fan fest ticket because it had an "exclusive" item or because they wanted to be the first to receive new info on the game. I wish SE could give you refunds and sell those tickets at the door instead (sounds like there is demand.)

For me, it was never about those things, but about having a fun time in Las Vegas with my best friend. The premium live stream isn't changing that at all.
