Oh I'd also be very much interested in them coming up with something new to FF as a whole. I love the classic summons (who doesn't) but also would love to see what new things they could create and may even become a classic themselves in the future.

It'd be awesome if Yojimbo showed up to be Greg's Nemesis... the chicken & dog could hate each other too.

It should not happen because we have odin, and well, Yojimbo was in FFX because Odin wasn't (or maybe it's the contrary )

They serve the same function, i.e. deal instant death to foes.

We have Odin, we most probably won't have Yojimbo.



(on a side note, I'd love to see summoners rage on their yojimbo-egi. So fun taking notes on every actions the egi makes for the entire time you have him summoned to be able to predict what it will do next. Enjoy )

Alexander and phoenix are all I ever care about. I'm gonna be super sad if Alexander ends up being something lame like a dungeon boss. I want him to have some serious worth in the storyline

However, we are missing 2 classic FF elements: Light and Dark. Alexander is an obvious choice for the light primal imo, and for dark there is... Anima and Hades if we are going to follow the "summon = primal" model.

The espers from FFXII are also good candidates for some primals as well. Light = Ultima, Dark = Zodiark.

Again, just throwing things out there.
