Something to not lose stacks just because we had to LB. Please?

You only lose stacks if you are LB3 and those are very rare and far between.
I love the official forums, they tell you to use the search for thread about what you wanted to talk but when you use it they judge for necro a thread.
That's uhhhh, what Perfect Balance is for.
You don't lose GL3 with any limit break unless you stop hitting your target with normal combo rotation. Just don't refresh ToD in the same cycle when you LB and you should be fine.
In second coil sure, you shouldn't really lose GL3 (Getting Shriek on T7 is probably the only time). However, there's plenty of lesser content where you lose it all the time due to mechanics and there's nothing you can do about it.
It's just a drawback of MNK. It's a good thing that in fights that matter it isn't a problem and your DPS is the highest of all the jobs.
That's something I could see as a trait with a level cap increase. That and a fourth stack of GL.
MNK is occasionally supposed to lose GL though, but at a level cap increase, they're pretty much free to do whatever they want in adding new abilities and balancing content. So they could change the duration if they wanted.
Currently, that is what perfect balance is for though.
as long as you end your combo and refresh GL as the last hit and then immediately LB, you have enough time afterwards to not lose GL...
I do this all the time, it's kinda tight but it's definitely doable even with lower skill speed.

It's possible if you use Demolish right before the LB3 since the animation takes longer and it takes slightly longer than snap punch until your GL stack is applied.
However the time frame is indeed very short but it's doable.
