    There are a lot of SE apologists in this thread, but you can't deny that SE has way more issues with lag, latency gameplay issues and disconnects than any other subscription MMO out there. Server-live was just such a poor choice, even for a "slow paced" game.
    The thing is theoretically speaking, server lived is better than client lived but the average internet connection and the shady ISP in North America makes it not so good unless you have a pretty decent connection (that doesn't throttle you for petty purposes)or you live close to server.

    Customers should not have to be inconvenienced when S.E can do something about it. I believe S.E should just man up and do what's best for their customers: Pay the ISPS for these "premium pipelines".

    How about no ? Why should Square Enix cater to the whims of ISP ? Square Enix are not at fault for people having terrible ISP, even if you only have the choice of one.

    First of all, that doesn't exist yet, except with Comcast.

    Second of all, they would have to pay every ISP? You can't be serious. Netflix wouldn't even do that shit.

    Third of all, if that even happened, guess what they would have to do for the money? $20+ a month, which is no different than paying for a VPN.

    How about instead, you take the responsibility and make every effort possible to push your ISP to stop fucking around?
