They thought people were too stupid to be able to type /away when they come back to the keyboard. They don't believe that summoner should have any added complexity because people will not be able to play a challenging class. This game is designed for the lowest common denominator.

I too would like it changed for the times that I'm in a regular dungeon and discover after my roll that someone could use the gear. I hate seeing things fall to the ground, so I roll greed on everything (I really need those GC seals). Just give us the opportunity to reroll on an item within a certain amount of time.

On the subject; I see no harm in keeping the "Pass" button active. I have been in situations where, like others, I "Greed" on stuff in dungeons for seals, but then someone requests that piece for an alt or something. Well they're just out of luck.

I have also seen the annoying shifting of items in the pool as people are still rolling.

As an aside, XI had this functionality. Folks could pass on an item after lotting if it was a mistake, and it happened more often than you'd think. Folks really need to stop railing against every small QoL change we ask for. It's getting so tiresome.

yesterday I was doing DR Trials, I got garuda HM, and everyone was.. I dunno, in so much hurry that we cleared it il something like 3 minutes.
I didn't even had time to check what weapon was in the loot, that I already had it in my inventory, while everyone was already out of the duty.

what to do if you accidently toll on loot you don't want from ST? Open Duty Finder, and click "Leave Instance" =\ eat the 30 min lockout over the 10,080 one.
