Why is SE so passionate about giving PLD's Critical Hit Rate on their gear?

Anyway, back to the topic of why SE so passionate about CHR on PLD gear..

When coil 2 just released, I did question why there's so much CHR too, but I think that it's fine because it helps with DPS and hate generation, and it doesn't "break" us from being decent tanks.
In fact, it might have made our jobs easier as tanks? *shrugs*

Either way, I feel that gear sets in this game is really lacking customization. If SE decides to give us more of one stat instead of another, we can only deal with it, so.... gotta deal with it. lol

I only cast stone skin in t9 and only once during phase 1 during the first iron chariot and then twice in phase two while waiting for the golems to spawn.

Stoneskin interrupts your combo so unless you are doing it for fun it's pretty pointless.

Skill speed and crit are equal for PLD and I'd put SS over crit for WARs.

WARs benefit from IR and Zerk and SS helps fit attacks. Any WAR using ruby accessories can appreciate the extra SS.

Err well I agree its less than warriors but saying it sucks its a bit too harsh. I main tank T9 as pally, 3 of our dps are 110 with High Allagan weapons, i been out of luck so still stuck with burtang, and I have no issue holding aggro in that fight

And achievements aside this game isn't rocket science, it's pretty easy to see posters like Seravi are correct and certain other ones are way out in left field.

I also do during 2nd meteor streams in P1 (since you lose combo anyways), after Megaflare (SS self, SS OT, SS me and Nael is just landing for first heavens), and sometimes if I have time waiting in mid for Thermionic in P4 though it's usually not even remotely necessary.
