Eorzea's Next Top Model - Round 8

Bwahaha my turn to vote at last. In alphabetical order.
Ciara - This is stunning~ I love that you chose an area that suits your chocobo's feather colour. It's such a serene shot, the sunset/rise is gorgeous. I'm a sucker for lens flair. The structures to your left and right frame the shot well too.
Maxwell - This is a nice storytelling shot IMO, looks like you're both investigating a spooky crypt or something. You compliment each other in terms of magey gear too.
Tinsley - Your gear alone drew me to this one, very pretty. Suits the model aspect of the competition. The fact it's the opposite of your chocobo's blackish feathers is nice. I love that you are tenderly giving your companion a kiss, the colour of your gear fits that loving gentle gesture. The location is rather picturesque also.
Vahn - This is one of my favorite locations in Eorzea, so points for location! I like that you matched your gear colour to your bird too. You're both wearing heavy armor and look ready for battle, nice.

For those not voted for.
Jayzan - The fire is lovely, gives you and your bird a nice glow. The background lets it down for me though.
Kin - I do like this, it's a nice action shot which not many models went for. I just feel the entire image is rather dark. Maybe if there was an enemy in shot too with an ability in use to give it some pop I'd have voted for this.
Kurri - This is a cute shot, I love that you got the sleeping chocobo in it. Made me smile. The lalafell in the chocobo gear is epic too. I'd like it more if the yellow chocobo in the background was in a better position, it just kinda seems in the way where it is. The fact the other two chocobos seem to be looking at the sleeping one like wuuut are you doing is a nice touch too.
Yunie - While I do love this one, and I almost voted for it over Tinsley's, I'm just not keen on the angle on your chocobo. It's not very flattering. Everything else, your pose, gear, the time of day, moon, lighting etc is lovely. But sadly, as it's a round focused on the companions as well as yourself I didn't vote for yours this time.

None of you are attempting to eat the birds... I guess you all ate before the shoot?

Ciara's 'moment' with her companion suggests an interesting backstory. It's always cool to see interactions like these get captured. Harmonious colour and movement all over the place to top it all off.

Maxwell is having another Indilala Jones adventure, but this time, with his costume-coordinated companion! It's the storytelling born of a great combination of location, expression and attitude that makes this one a winner for me~

Vahn: This is probably one of the best backdrops you could have chosen for a shot like this, and I think this is even my favourite shot of yours so far. You both stand out as 2 powerful figures, almost as strong as Kosme (maybe), dominating the shot. I almost wish it were a stormy day, though~

Tinsley: Again, the interaction here was too much for me to pass up. I'm not great with that kinda thing so it always impresses me when people can capture moments like these with other players, or NPCs.

Kurri - The randomness of all the chocobos... i just love it lol
Maxwell- Blm power!... i honestly dont know what to say lol.. i just really like this SS
Tinsley- the emote.. its just perfect!
Vahn- The matching armor + pose+ area = full of awesomeness! You are my top SS this time

Yunie- I found it cute and and the matching gave it a nice touch, but i felt it was missing something idk what lol
Kin- I think you had a really nice idea going on but idk what it is.. maybe if u were facing the camera more?
Jayzan- idk what it is.. too simple maybe? I think if you used an area with some orange/fall trees if would have brought it out more? idk but u had a nice idea ^^
Ciara- oh my fav model...if only i could have picked 5, Its a beautiful SS but i felt it was missing something :/

Maxwell: I love the 'WTF' look on your character's face, seems like you're lost in some dungeon. Also, the chocobo matching theme <3
Tinsley: This is so lovely, it's heartwarming~
Colors, background, and lighting is perfect for me :3

I love this shot 10/10 on every aspect




Jayzen: The fire exposure was quite good, but the background was weak.
Kin: Looks fierce! I think I would've wanted to have a lightning strike going on in the background for a dramatic effect?
Kurri: This was the most creative submission imo, it was a torture to pick 4... ;_;
Nothing to not like about this screenshot..
Yunie: Cute and stuff.. I like the color green theme if it was intended!

Vahn: I love that you match your chocobo, and managed to get it to look towards the camera,really brought the whole shot together.
Kurri: I love that you added in other chocobos.
Maxwell: that look on your face! I love it. Looks like you've got each other's backs.
Kin: I wish your shot was just a tad lighter because you and your chocobo are so dark, bu I chose your shot for pretty much the same reason as maxwells, perfect team!

Short reasons as to why I didn't pick the others
Ciara: that environment looks really cold and the clothing you're wearing doesn't match up, otherwise this would have been my top pick.
Jayzan: I love the background with this shot, but I wish you would have shown a little more interaction with your chocobo.
Tinsley: I reallylike this shot, I just feel your outfit lost you my vote, seems too random from everything else in the shot.
Yunie: I really like your shot too, I think it might be the angle that threw me off a little.

Maxwell: Yours is my fave. I love the coordinated outfits and the pose.
Tinsley: looks like you are giving your chocobo eskimo kisses. So cute.
