Does anyone actually know someone who got banned for botting/gil buying?

If you ask me, SE cares more about their sub. No profit for them to ban them.

^ This, players known on our server that cheat, bot, and/or buy gil have still been around close to nine months now and they seem to keep playing with no issues.

Remember boys and girls, if you spot a bot and they're currently engaged in combat... Open trade with them. It will cancel any and all actions, they will die and you can dance on their body right after. My FC and I do this to botters in North Shroud who kill the plasmoids. It's hilarious watching them fall one by one, and then after three deaths they slap busy on.

The smart ones will already have their status changed before they even start botting though.

Which is why they need a better reporting tool. I've never had to deal with such a half-assed petition system in my life with such limited options. WoW has a right-click to report spam that automatically blacklists the character and files the report.

We don't have that nor a way to right-click a player to report cheating. If they want our help on these things (and ultimately reduce their own overhead; they're pissing away money) then they need to step it up with their toolset.

Regretfully you report them so many times before you get tired of it and stop doing it.

I've reported bots gathering fire shards in E. Thalanan (near the bridge where the 4x chain FATE pops) for months, they are still doing it....one day I said "to hell with this", they are still there botting and just ignore them

This can also be used to stop players from teleporting. Good way to troll :P

Yup there is a summoner in the cave that farms the same 2 goddamn bats for 2 weeks + now.

Tried to troll him by kiting boars in but they reset to early. :/

They haven't been banned. Before Plasmoids in N Shroud, it was Lesser Kalongs in Quarrymill. They've been botting since the game was released.
